In today's video we are discussing a difficult topic, and we have to say it would be impossible to sum up the African slave trade in a few short minutes, and it would be disrespectful to try. We want to make it clear that is not our intention. Instead we're going to try and show you just a slice of how horrible the living conditions on a slave ship actually were.

They had different values, in part because education back then was a luxury that very few had and it was very centered on religion, when you have ignorance + an extreme rought life (life back then for the average joe was NOT easy, specially at the sea) + seeing scenes of brutality pretty much everyday(for example people dying from diseases, authorities beating up people and burning people alive (for example during the inquisition)) = a group of people that have normalized brutality and don't have a notion what human dignity really is

Darkuu Did any body say that slavery only happened to Africans? The reason why this aspect of slavery is talked about so much is because it was world wide and it was the foundation of many countries growth In economy (cotton agriculture etc)stop dampening others pain because it happened to others in society.
