Today was a weird day. After a long scary night through one of the worst storms we have all ever seen . Something really bad happened on the beach that left us feeling really strange the rest of the day. Travelling on the North Coast 500 towards John O'Groats through some of the most stunning beaches and turquoise ocean we have ever seen!!
We are the Ingham Family - currently on our way from our home in West Yorkshire, up through the Lake District and into Scotland to drive the North Coast 500 in our 6 berth mini house on wheels!
** We got our motor home from www.motorhomehiresheffield.co.uk. This is a small family run business based in Sheffield. They were fantastic from start to finish and we can highly recommend them for all your motorhome needs!

Omg I know how you fell when you have had a item for so long it's devastating when its gone, I had a camera with i had for a long time, had some beautiful pictures on it from our holiday in Spain and I left it on a chair in the airport, buy the time I realised it had gone it was to late someone had taken it, it broke my heart. You definitely need to go to Cornwall to the other end of England to land's end. All the beaches there are blue and so beautiful. i am the father of the young lady that took a fit when speaking to you at your van on Thursday. we would like to thank you for assisting our daughter and you did the right thing putting her onto her side as she is always sick when she takes a seizure if left on her back she would have chocked. we are very much appreciated for what you did and thanks again.

Sarah it’s called an Estuary....where the Lochs and rivers meet the ocean, so yes it’s because the tides went out🙂I live in beside an Estuary In Scotlands west coast but further south, and have never been to the Highlands, we’re doing the NC500 in two weeks so I’m loving these vlogs! 😊 x

Ah Chris you haven’t ruined the trip you don’t need a drone to capture the incredible places because your eyes will do that the trip is for use to enjoy where it’s nice for us to see it’s amazing for use to experience your self , enjoy your trip and try not to worry about the content I’m sure everyone who watches will understand

I LOVE BAD WEATHER!!! My youngest daughter loves it too some family tells me I'm crazy lol 😂 because they are scared of bad weather but I get so happy when it starts thundering 😁 I'm loving these vlogs, it's so beautiful! My hubby sat down yesterday while I was watching y'all and even he was like "it's so beautiful" and we really want to go now. Y'all be safe and careful!!!

My phone fell in the toilet 2 weeks after I bought it. Yes it's just a phone, yes I got a new one... but it was the principal of it all... only 2 weeks old!! Needless to say, I sulked for a couple of days. Chris you are human!! Sry you lost your drone😞. The cave was gorgeous!!❤😘

Chris I'm so sorry for the loss of your dear ole friend. Can we have a moment of silence for Mr. Drone. He had such a full and eventful life. in loving memory of Mr. Drone. whom passed on July 16th 2020 in Scotland.

Best thing to do when someone has a seizure is leave them on their back and place a cushion or something soft under their head and only move them on their side if they’re choking (they won’t choke on their tongue though it’s not possible). My mum has epilepsy so I learnt what to do when I was a child

In Australia you can experience very bad storms with trees falling down. The worst two I have experience was one at the Sunshine Coast with hale stones as big as bricks and the other one was at my grandparents house and I am not joking it was a mini cyclone!!!!!!!!

Aw, it's such a shame about the drone but I'm sure we will all love the Scotland vlogs with or without it! And yeah, there's 2 types of lochs - sea lochs (loch Inver) and land-logged lochs (loch Lomond) in sea lochs there will be a tide but in land-logged ones there won't xxxx

Don’t worry about the wind and rain you will eventually get used to it bc I live in a caravan and now used to the weather and sometimes it can be a little scary but you will get used to it also I love you all so much xxxxx

I am so stupid that when Chris was talking about losing his drone I waved to Esme’ in the back eating her sandwich. And Chris for real I feel so so bad for you for losing your drone, wow. That must be a tough one for you and you had every right to cry your eyes out about it. 😢 I hope for you that you can have a drone sent to a location along your path. What you are experiencing with the weather right now is our summer lol...You are high up so the winds will be higher but don't worry the East side is stunning in a different way...Lots of jetty's with boats etc and lots of wee gift shops to look at.......In Glasgow it is a holiday weekend, called The Glasgow Fair and typical fair holidays are wet and cold...Hope the sun comes out for you soon xx

Hi Chris the wind that you experienced on Thursday night are called Gale force winds and it was coming off the Northern Irish Sea you's should think of touring Northern Ireland you can see here from Scotland love watching your volgs love your family.

I totally understand your frustration on losing your drone,it has served you well and taken many stunning views.hope you are able to get another one,I always think when these things happen it just keeps in back of your mind so when you are in similar weather conditions you may be perhaps little more prepared to make a different judgement,these things happen,the views are stunning I'm a big nature lover I'm in awe of the views .

I was one of the girls that met you in the village, it’s called the Kyle of Durness and is connected to the sea me my dad my brother and my mum go out on the boat we go out the sea to the big island that the army bomb for practice and when the tides out at like five in the morning we often move the sheep from the farm across the sand and out the mountains ❤️❤️❤️

Hi Ingham family. I was just wondering if you will be going to Eyemouth on the border of Scotland. There is also a bay called Coldingham Bay and it is really beautiful. If you're coming to Australia again come to Western Australia and drive around there we have some beautiful caves and beaches there's a cave about 30mins to an hour away from Busselton Western Australia it's an awesome Cave called Nilgi and then a few others down south are mammoth and Jewel Cave they are so beautiful Caves that I haven't been able to get to but definitely one day

I think the water was high because of the wind and high tide difference. I was in New Zealand a while ago and there is a bay with a tide difference of 2 meters. the bay filled up completly

Just a bit of info, when someones having a seizure, you dont put them onto their side! Just hold their head and support their head so they dont hit it on anything and make sure there's nothing they can hit themselves on! My boyfriend has epilepsy so I deal with this regularly and also I care for a lady with seizure disorder 😊 loving your guys vlogs 😊

i'm so sorry you lost the drone. sorry for your loss. maybe you always need a backup drone because things do happen, out of our/your control. hugs to you Chris. you're doing a fantastic job pulling the footage together... it's stunning for sure. yay yay yay about the news about your new drone. so awesome!
