Yeah it is tough to be judgmental, but he didn't have a very good season regardless. Anyone can be forgiven for having trouble getting in the swing of things when there are injuries

Calling Franca a letdown is a bit harsh- he’s still young and he’s got eze and olise to compete with for places in the lineup. If either of them leaves in the summer, i’m sure he’ll get much more gametime

I agree. Massively harsh. He had about 3 starts under Roy for a new signing,which is disappointing,especially when Palace’s transfers were so different to what Roy had in mind to let his “experienced” players break their legs twice over before he was ever prepared to let Franca start a game. When he played in that cup game against Everton I knew he was good. But better than Schlupp at that time wasn’t difficult. Tell that to Roy though…

And he's been injured. his first couple of games under glasner were really promising, but michael wouldn't know any of this because he has 0 ball knowlege - he thought glasner was a defensive long ball manager 😂

Those are just the reasons for why he's been a let-down though, you can't be linked with Real Madrid but then go to Crystal Palace and not get regular minutes, whatever the circumstances. I'm sure he'll kick on eventually but as for this season alone he's definitely been Palace's biggest let-down

The only reason diaby has been underwhelming is because he started well and so we started to hope and maybe even expect a high goal+assist return. All in all he's been good but patchy you can clearly see it's taking him a bit of time to gel into the squad he's been one of villa's better players in recent games.

Gabi Jesus ruined his own confidence, he was an absolute goal machine until he said that he wasn’t a natural goalscorer. I think Arsenal should replace him with Watkins in the summer.

What do you mean he was a goal machine until he said that? He was never a goal machine, he was always an all round player who scored goals but that wasn’t his main thing, his dribbling, pressing, and link up play are still top notch. And we aren’t getting Watkins or selling Jesus 😂

As the other guy said, his injury has ruined him. He also didn't get a preseason, so getting the summer off to rest will hopefully be huge for him. We got to see his quality last season before the injury and it was clear to see.

Did the trick really, got their current main striker firing and they only have to pay his wages for 6 months then they can get a equal replacement/support/backup in the summer for less than they could've signed broja permanently in January

Franca, Ferguson, and Ramsey were all injured. As a Chelsea fan I’d say Enzo but now we know he’s been playing with a Hernia which is quite a painful thing to have so I think some of those picks are harsh due to injuries those lads all have had for most of the season.

Why? He's barely played this season because of injury. Yes his general level isn't near last season, but he's been played at CB quite a bit too. The clear and obvious answer is Rashford. He'd been relatively injury free this season and has been diabolical.

A bit harsh on Pedro Neto in my opinion. He hasn't played badly, he's just had injuries - when he has played, he has been one of their best players, along with Cunha. Sasa Kaladjzic has had worse injuries and looked so anonymous for Wolves that he was sent out on loan, only to get his 3rd ACL injury in 5 seasons. He was supposed to be their starting striker to replace Raul Jimenez.

As a Spurs fan I feel the same way about Maddison. In the beginning of the season I thought we would have the first PFA player’s player of the year since Bale and would be at least in contention for the PL title but instead we can not even qualify for the UCL and Maddison has not looked at all the same on the pitch. To be fair he has had good performances for England and should make the squad.

Casemiro has to be my biggest let down for Man Utd. More than Rashford. With Rashford this season has been awful, but he has blown hot and cold most of his senior career. Casemiro is a 5 time champions league winner who can’t defend or pass. After his last red card he has not been the same.

Diaby one is a bit harsh but other then injury related issues he was the only choice really. He's just having his bed in season which happens he wasn't playing in a system/role like this at Leverkusen it takes time to adjust and he's shown glimpses of the player we signed like against Liverpool he ran the show. Rogers didn't replace him on the left Diaby hasn't really played there he has a bit and performed quite well but it's not his position.

Pelly wasn't a disappointment for Luton, great journey but we all knew he would be a bit part player. Biggest disappointment for Luton was Ryan Giles, record signing but never looked any good and spent half the season on loan at Hull

I think a strong shout-out for Spurs is Bissouma. First ten games he was utterly unstoppable, now he gets dropped regularly for a guy Postecoglou wanted to sell since he walked into the job.

Think Kalvin Phillips could have been in for two separate teams here. Grealish hasn't been a letdown at all for City.

Facts If JG is a letdown then so is John Stones. Both have been injured/ill throughout the whole season, having inconsistent play time. It's not their fault they got unlucky with injuries. Phillips was so poor he had to go out on loan. Nunes couldn't hit the ground running and struggled more so than either JS or JG.
