There's a rhyme to all the reason
In everything I do
Have you any imagination
Of what I'm goin' through
There's art to all this madness
I'm just crazy over you

This was 1980! What other artist was making songs and yet not less a video show casing White people, Black people, Indian people, Native American people, Asian people and Latin people coming together as one People!! I don’t know any other artist that did it before him! I love you Michael Jackson! You were ahead of your time and a true Super Star that blessed this planet!!
@bridgeth6629
@bridgeth6629 3 жыл бұрын
As a kid in the 70's, I can remember lots of imagery that showed people of all races coming together. There was a Coke commercial. There was some cartoon, might have been a cartoon commercial, that showed the earth and showed children of all races encircling the earth and holding hands. I also had a doll set that consisted of about 20 different dolls, each from a different country, where each one was dressed in their native dress. These things had a huge impact on making me understand from an early age that all people were one human race...and the this Jacksons video just reinforced all that. As I look at this now, as an adult at age 56, what I see is imagery and symbolism that ties in with other celestial beings who are currently sending us positive vibes / energy to help us get through all the (seemingly) bad stuff we are now experiencing as a planet.

Saw his concert in 1984 @ Dodger Stadium in L.A. with his brothers (the last tour that the Jackson 5 would ever do together as a gift to their mother) and nothing has ever compared or come close since! One of the happiest nights of my life. Gravity ceased to exist tonme during that concert!

@@tubester4567 and what was the word in the last sentence you said... I believe it was "CREDITED"....right? Now let me enlighten you on something, if you're not WANTING recognition, then you don't HAVE to have your name within the credits. I'm 23 yrs in the entertainment industry. Was Jermaine in the video? No!! But that doesn't mean he didn't play now does it? I bet you believe that Jeffery Daniels taught Michael the Moonwalk cause it's CREDITED by default, but it was Michael "Boogaloo Shrimp" Chambers who taught Mike the backside aka the moonwalk. But he was never CREDITED for that. Just like with Kurtis Blow not being CREDITED for being Run Dmc's producer. It was Rick Rubin and Russell Simmons that was CREDITED on the album. Now before you try and check me on what's printed on something, check the facts and what the RECORD LABEL didn't print. And to sum it all up if you remember, Jermaine and Joseph was getting into it with each other behind him marrying Hazel, and remember he just left and disappeared? That's why he was not in the video and he was not credited on the song. #IAMENTERTAINMENT

I swear, being alive during these moments feels like a definitive blessing. We didn't realize it at the time, but we were LITERALLY witnessing a "once in a lifetime" level performer in MJ! Everything he touched wasn't just good...it was "magical." It took you places. Grabbed your emotions. This man had GROWN men fainting at concerts! We will NEVER see that level of greatness again in our lifetime. And I miss the legend something terrible. Fortunately for us, he left behind so many timeless classics for us to enjoy and remember where we were when we first heard them! RIP to the King

Truly a very moving and touching account of what is important and life and love giving. Love and good will always conquer all. Trust in this love and you will never be alone. Thankyou Michael for your incredible insight and sharing it with us. Rest in peace friend.
