What about a lawyer that is exclusivly family law but only has practiced for a few years? Is there a ball park number to shoot for on the experience piece?

I would say that years would depend on the complexity of your case but not that alone. You would really want to know if they have consistent experience dealing with a case like yours.

I need a number I can call I just left family court and I felt jumped I been raising my kids alone for 14 years alone and now when I discipline my 15 year old for missing school 2 days in a row and talking to me disrespectfully via cursing at me.some one heard the argument and call cops now I have all type of issues I'm looking for a male lawyer because im not sure in this climate we live in a women will have me -----and my daughters best interests

The cost of hiring an attorney may sometimes (and typically) depend on the lawyer's unique specialty, experience, skill, the complexity of your case, etc. As well as many other factors. Law firms will charge different fees for their services depending on those factors (in addition to other factors).
