Thank you for friday lesson. For me, may be green colors over saturated. 😃👋👋

It all depends what you're looking to achieve. If you're a purist and want it look as close to reality as possible then yes, it's oversaturated. But it's about the artistic licence, and especially if you're going to print it out and hang it on the wall. Real colours tend to look very drab on the wall. (Nigel Crooks)

Happiness is TK Friday. I try to find one or two new techniques to use in my next edit session. Today was the color lum action. Thanks Dave!!!

Hi Dave. Another great TK Friday. For your future knowledge and reference, the ‘fences’ are dry stone walls - quite a common feature in many areas of the UK.

Building up depth and dimension gradually is our take-away here. Using different tools in the panel to achieve the same outcome gives us a broader knowledge of this panel's capabilities. Thank you, Dave!

Thanks Dave. I've followed along with about 8 of your edits & the TK panel. Each time I feel like I am getting better with the edits. This one really made a few light bulbs pop on in my head. 💡💡💡

Another great lesson, Dave. Tony's panel has made blend if a much bigger part of processing. I used it before but only in a limited way.

Thanks Dave - Main take away from this edit for me is the importance of paying attention to detail and building contrast slowly using various techniques in different parts of the image to add depth and dimension and directing the viewer’s attention to where you want it to go. Another great TK Friday!

Thanks for editing another of my photos Dave, I really enjoyed your artistic view. I used similar edits when I created the Flickr copy, but that was about showing the image closer to reality. I'm in the middle of this weeks edits for a new upload to Flickr on Sunday. I'll be trying out some of those techniques you used. Unfortunately, the day was mostly wet and the images are more towards showing a damp miserable day, so not so saturated colours. Cheers again.

Hi Dave, thanks for including my suggestion on creating the balance and contrast layers. I didn't post it in the comments but sent through your contact link as I though it too much for a comment 🙂

Hi Dave, I would like to know if you have any tricks to automate the elimination of the light halo that forms around selected areas. Thank you Antonio

Thanks again Dave. It is great to find out all the different methods to edit the photos. Do you have any tips to decrease the file sizes? I recently started to decrease the sizes of my backup files by deleten the layers and channels. For example one file gave these results: 785 MB incl. layers and channels 620 MB without the channels 124 MB for a flat file Are there better ways?
