Way back in the 80's and early 90's Boracay was so serene and pristine and not too crowded ,.And way back then foreigners are just sunbathing ,swimming naked on the beach, and electricity doesn't exist yet on the island.

Its not, it means too much pollution in water. Algae forms from water pollution, it can be harmful to human body.

Algal Blooms are neither a mystery or a surprise. A battery of water quality tests will always reveal the underlying cause, usually it’s pollution.

Puka Beach in Boracay don't really have algae even during algae season! The water in Puka Beach is much nicer & crystal clear plus it's more chill & quieter than White Beach! 😊

@@lexopims3660 What are you talking about? Lol! Puka Shell Beach is part of Boracay Island! In fact, Puka Shell Beach is the 3rd longest beach on Boracay Island next to White Beach & Bulabog Beach. Apart from White Beach, Bulabog Beach & Puka Beach, Boracay has other beaches like Diniwid Beach, Tambisaan Beach, Ilig-Iligan Beach, Balinghai Beach, Banyugan Beach & Punta Bunga Beach.

@@lexopims3660 Well, at least the waters in Puka Beach are crystal clear and the beach doesn't have algae like White Beach during dry season. The views in Puka Shell Beach are also very scenic & beautiful. Not all people want a crowded beach anyway so tourists can just go to Puka Shell Beach as an alternative if they don't want to see algae along the beach or if they want more peace & quiet! If tourists want a beach with more of a "party vibe or crowded atmosphere", then they can just stay at White Beach. You know, Puka Shell Beach is not just a random beach as it is located in one of the most premier tourist destinations in the Philippines which is Boracay! Not all random beaches in the country can say that, lol!

Boracay is a paradise island to me personally , I was there last year and it was a beautiful place , the white sand , the warm water , the accommodation , the food and the people , all is good and amazing . I wish , I could stay more longer . And you guys , you’ve been there so many times and you don’t stop enjoying spending time there . We have the same feeling . I’m going back this year and I can’t wait to be there , this time a little bit longer .

I like the contrast of green and turquoise to blue and still the water is crystal clear pass the seaweed. You guys went when the green seaweed happens to wash ashore but then mysteriously disappears around June to July. It’s a seasonal but I’m glad to see your dad wading in crystal water. Koda seems to enjoy the beach and the food once again is amazing always making me hungry but i know what to order since Lucy have great knowledge of Filipino food. Thanks again for posting.

That's ok it's happening every summertime in Boracay, Algae play a vital role in aquatic ecosystems by forming the energy base of the food web for all aquatic organisms. As autotrophic organisms, algae convert water and carbon dioxide to sugar through the process of photosynthesis.

So sad to see Boracay as you’ve seen it now… I have mixed feelings…. The first time I saw it, way back in the early 80s, there was curfews, lights out by 10pm on the entire island. No hotels, just 1 or 2 I think and family run… 1 disco named Bazura… the market place was called the Talipapa, where all the sales were… food and souvenirs.. Absolutely no algae at all… the water was forever pristine.. the beach front was so wide and long… So much has changed… I don’t blame the people for loving the island.. I just wish they’d take care of it and keep the environment.. make it a priority. Thank you guys for your vlogs… Thank you for loving our country… our people love you back… Stay blessed as a family 🙏🏻

Palawan or El Nido specifically is overpriced! The beach and nature are nice but it shouldn't be that expensive. It is overpriced due to foreign tourists but limited access to things Not sure about the last one because local food also seemed to be overpriced unless you buy it in the local market.
