Algae season in Boracay usually falls on the first quarter of the year, during dry season. The peak of Boracay algae season is around February to April. It's the rainy months that decrease this phenomenon. Anyway, I wish you could also bring Lucy's dad and stepmom to Crimson Resort where you guys got engaged and where little Koda was made!😂

Splashing Koda and the parents eyes were in amazement and Boracay was buzzing with excitement I’d say the post pandemic has created a wonderful vibe up and down this beautiful beach. Thanks for posting this of Boracay and it never gets old since I was there last October 2023 and still looks too surreal with that perfect sunset and bustling crowd. Just perfect

We had same issue, flight delayed in the small el Nido airport w/o any restaurant. The airline got has some food for us on the 4 hour delay. El Nido was amazing! Island hopping!

Algae season is a natural phenomenon in Boracay. My first time there in 1998 and algae is already existing. I saw old boracay photos way back 1980s and algae can be seen in those photos. Even if you remove the algae, the next day it will be there.

It's very sad to say that algae blooms is not only a seasonal thing but also the presence extraordinary high nitrates in the sea. I've seen that happen in mactan-cebu too. And probably caused by sewer leaching out to sea. I can't allow my self to swim the sea of mactan unless I'm far to sea.

next time try to go to Shangrila Boracay, perfect place . I always go to Shangrila with my english friends. The white sand is nice too however lots of people there.
