Next time you need to reattach a cord you could use heat shrink for the wires, and also, given that you already cut the wires, you could put a toggle switch, a rocker switch, or a inline lamp switch to turn on or off the fountain.

There’s a very specific reason your pump needs to be covered with water. Most water pumps can move incompressible water, but if air gets into the pump, it just sucks the air and doesn’t have enough pressure to pick up water. So, air just circulates inside the turbine and the pump stalls.

Laura Rogers do you guys know about what liquid I’m talking about? Or do you guys think I’m making it up? Idk how the science work buts there’s a liquid that when you pour it and you just hold it at a slight angle it’ll still keep pouring because of the strong bonds it has (or another reason but I’m wrong). It’s a pretty viscous liquid. So I’m wondering if something can be done with that liquid.

Pretty cool, Id tin, solder and heat shrink the pump wires though just to keep em from corroding or shorting out if the electrical tape degrades. But in a pinch just to demonstrate it works or for people with little to no soldering skills itll work, it would be kind of cool to add some LEDs too, maybe on the bigger version.

That was such shockingly bad wire work, it’s got me all amped up. Getting bit by main power hertz so bad it’s lights out. Despite the dangerous build instructions, he does bring a lot of positive energy to the channel.
