Probably the best opposite there is. The hops. She towers above the net, her being a former long jump athlete help her jump so high. No need for low sets when she can go over her blockers. It was also possible because of her build during those years she played. I miss her. The USA will never ever produce another deadly opposite like her.

her vertical jump is a monster! no wonder before switch to volleyball, she's won National championship track and field for women high jump.

I relly hope destinee will play for the US volleyball team. She's one of the most powerful spikers I have seen. Destinee plus Lowe plus Akinradewoo plus Larson plus Glass plus Dietzen - Super Strong line up!!

Karsta Lowe and Nicole fawcette are good opposites, but no one can do what destinee did as an opposite for the USA... I've seen her play after her first baby and her height helped her out a lot, her vertical seemed to go down a bit. Now she's having another kid which is awesome, but not too good for the USA team lol. Just saying. Karsta and Nicole can't play defense like destinee did or hit out the back row like destinee did. But we can only hope and pray the two new opposites will bring it, especially while playing Brazil.
