To protect her eyes,so her eyes will not be hit by the ball while blocking

Joey C She said on an instagram post that back in 2003 she got hurt by a ball (volley obviously) so she got a temporary blind sport, so she was recommended to use goggles, because if she got hit by another ball in the same eye she could go completely blind (in that eye) so I think that she has that kind of fear or something about it

Dafne Erosa Thank You for a reply two year's later smile. Yes I know why she Ware's the eye protection. That has nothing to do with her keeping her eye's open for blocking. A player must keep eye's wide open when blocking or no block will take place. She has done much better last two year's and is keeping her eye's open at all times. Thanks for your thought's. She is an incredible player.
