In this edition of Tarikh, Nikhil talks about Lotika Sarkar and Mathura Rape case. In 1972 , Mathura, a young tribal girl was allegedly raped by two Police Constables at Desaiganj Police Station in Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra. The case reached Supreme Court of India, where the court acquitted the accused which led to a huge public outcry. Lolita sarkar was a notable feminist and law professor in Delhi University. She along with her colleagues fought for the reopening of Mathura rape case and wrote a scathing opening letter to Supreme Court. Public protest and pressure on government led to amendments in the Indian rape law via The Criminal Law Amendment Act 1983 (No. 43). Watch complete video to know more

हम तो समझ रहे थे कोई न्यायालय सही फैसला करें या ना करें लेकिन सुप्रीम कोर्ट हमेशा सही फैसला करता है लेकिन पहली बार ऐसा केस और सुप्रीम कोर्ट ऐसा तर्क सुनकर विश्वास नहीं हो रहा कि यह सब सुप्रीम कोर्ट के जज का है सच में अगर ऐसा कभी हुआ है तो सुप्रीम कोर्ट को माफी माँगनी चाहिए और पुनर्विचार करना चाहिए और दोषियों को सख्त सजा देनी चाहिए चाहे वह मर क्यों नहीं गया हो

In India there is a no law against a rape. There should be a strict law against criminal like shot in public. instead of jail. however we only know this types of highlighted cases. but in our locals rape is also happened and victims did not raise a voice against it because of reputation. If such kind of thing happen with politician then criminal is arrested within 24 hours. Where common people didn't get even justice. I hope one day Indian government will make an actual law against rape.

बहुत दुख की बात है, उस गरीब छोटी सी बच्ची को न्याय नहीं मिला। लेकिन इस ऐपिसोड को प्रस्तुतकर्ता से एक शिकायत है कि उन्होंने पुलिसकर्मी यो के नामों को लेकर जो तंज कसा है वो सरासर गलत हैं। तुकाराम ये सन्त के नाम हैं और गणपत भगवान के नाम है। अरे माँ बाप को क्या पता होता है कि जो बच्चा पैदा हुआ है वो कल बड़े होकर क्या कान्ड करने वाला है। वो तो चाहते हैं कि उनके बच्चे सन्त बने, उनके आचरण भगवान जैसे हो। परन्तु बच्चा अगर बड़े होकर रेपिस्ट बन जाए तो उन नामों का क्या कसूर है। रेपिस्ट के नाम कुछ भी हो सकते जैसे निखिल, कमल, सचिन, विजय, विशाल, मोहम्मद अब्दुल, शायनी।

......लेकिन,उस बच्ची का क्या हुआ?संविधानिक कानून मे परिवर्तन कर देना बड़ी बात नही है उस बच्ची को इंसाफ मिला या नही मिला यह बात बताने की कृपा करे।।

सरकार ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसले के खिलाफ अपनी लड़ाई बहादुर आदिवासी मथुरा की बेटी का सम्मान और गौरव बढ़ाया और दरिंदे पुलिस के रूप में समाज के तथाकथित रक्षक और भारतीय समाज की दलितों और आदिवासियों के प्रति गिनौनी सोच को उजागर किया

क़ानून बनाने वालो ने ये बहुत hi गलत किया है. जो एक तरफवा क़ानून बना दिया है.... आज उसी की वजह से ना जाने कितने बेगुनाह बेकसूर होते हुवे भी जेल की सजा काट रहे है..... इस मुहीम से जुड़े.... अपना योगदान दे..... ............................. #धारा 376 क़ानून मे बदलाव #पुरुषो की गरीमा की रक्षा #पुरुष आयोग होनी चाहिए #महिलाओ द्वारा 376 क़ानून का दुरूपयोग होने से रोक
