In the original Jimny video from 9 months ago (see link in video to see that first) it compiled footage and feelings from the first 18 months of living with a new 2019 Suzuki Jimny SZ5. Not only that, but the Jimny was ordered 12 months in advance as a secret surprise Christmas present for Jonny's wife. The Jimny is used every day and is the idea has always been to try and maximise its practicality without the realms of the aftermarket.
Parts fitted originally:
L.E.D rear light units and accessory dash top tidy supplied by Jimny Style - jimnystyle.com/
jimnystyle.com/collections/in...
jimnystyle.com/collections/li...

Those are great additions. I used to drive a Suzuki SJ413 and made similar changes. I had 4 spots fitted but they were the old incandescent bulbs. But having said that, when you turned on the extra 200 watts, it really lit the way. I also found a couple of small wide angle beams mounted on the sides of the roof rack were useful. I think these are called "Alley Lights" in the USA. I don't think we Brits have a name for them. All the best, Pete

out of those wheel choices I would go for the american racing ones. Oh and I remember the days when bull bars were dangerous and would get you pulled over. When I was at uni our kayak club had an old transit meat wagon we'd bought from a police auction that was still in full riot spec - perspex windows, bull bars, fittings for the metal cage to go over the windscreen. Every time the cops pulled us over to complain about the bull bars we had to explain to them that we didn't put them on the van, they did.

Jonny, what you are putting on the bonnet is a bonnet protector. We do have loose stones on our roads here in Australia & they are normally kicked up by the car in front. I've never used them due to the mounting points causing rust spots on the bonnet. Although the roof mounted spotlights look cool, I'm amazed you didn't put on an LED light bar. I've owned Vitaras & Grand Vitaras since 1992 & I'm on my 4th one. The current Vitara I found to be a soft roader SUV. My next update will be the Jimny. Tasteful & simple mods. I hope to see more of your Jimny in future episodes :)

Some really tasteful mods. Can't wait wait it see it on a set of shoes, will totally transform it! As much as I know you weren't keen on the black initially, it does help to make it more subtle and have a more OEM feel.

Brilliant Jonny love the video going through what youve bought and why, the Jimny looks great now without being OTT Definately needs AT tyres on it.

Inspiring me to make some of those mods to our Jimny. Front runner rack on order, tempted by the ladder and the wind deflector. Nice video!

You can take the boy out of Max Power, but you can't take the Max Power out of the boy. :) I really enjoyed it, and I think the final car is really cool. I'd love to see more of your brothers ancient cars as well.

I'm still wondering what is it about the Jimny that's so exciting, but I love the excitement and the little details! We're all basically the same, whatever the car, we can't stop fiddling with it 'to make it better'.

I've been recently inspired. I'm bringing my Suzuki jimny out of retirement. Parked it in a garage 8 years ago. With a battery charge it fired up straight away. However I've a few issues I'm working on. Making progress

I just fitted a pair of Rigid Industries D series spots to my Suzuki...........only two wheels however the mighty Suzuki V Strom 1000 V Twin (adventure bike). I love Suzuki as a brand, not pretentious plenty of scope to upgrade, tough & reliable. Enjoyed watching your car undergoing modification 👍
