I, like many others, have waited far too long to witness interaction like this. The sight of an intelligent, informed and polite officer, is probably the finest thing that anyone could hope for. I sincerely hope that other similar 'public' service operations and the staff employed within them will finally understand their role and the rights of the people that ultimately pay their salaries. Been watching auditors for about 2yrs now from the US and UK. This is by far the best copper I've seen. Introduced himself, knew the law, told his colleague he should have mentioned he was filming, educated the security. Top marks 👏

Clued up police man, quick promote this man to Sergeant. DWP, quick to sanction people , but slow to know the laws of UK. And G4S, looks like zero training for their employees working in Job Centres. Suppose they don't really give a shit, Government contract. low wages , easy money.

Brilliant attitude from the first officer, did exactly what needed to be done. Although I commend his behaviour and attitude it’s a shame it’s come to this, where we are praising them for doing their job. Refreshing to see he has your rights protected and was impartial throughout!

Gotta Say, You were lucky that that officer (Who Was Fantastic) was the one who came & was in control, if his Colleague who Did not speak or let you know he was filming had been the officer in control you WOULD have had a completely different Response, Believe Me!!! Perhaps that is why he is paired with that excellent officer who (For a change understands the Law)... Excellent Video Mate.

G4S will continue to implement their own no-filming policy at the job-centre (it certainly is NOT the DWP's policy) until they are forced to change it and conform. All security companies have a blanket no-filming policy, I guess because it makes them feel important. If auditors keep up the pressure, they will eventually have to concede.
