Thinking about using the Endothermic Platform Overclock for the Engineer? Well here is some Elite Deep Dive footage using it.
Since uploading picture perfect EDDS is not entertaining, I thought I would include downs and team revives to show the struggle.
It's actually shocking and disheartening how many people are not thinking about fun when they play this. Judging by comments I get, you would think this is a competitive game or something?
Well its not, your meant to have fun when playing it. And I had an absolute blast using this build.

my first hazard 5 looked like this! seriously I'm player level 40 and I'm playing with guys who all 3 have well over 700 player level. at one point each individual had a heroic "dodge the wave and revive your three dead teammates" kind of moment. For the first 15 min I had a constant thought that I was the problem but those guys kept me on for another 3 hazard 5 missions in which we did better. not once was there a single word said over a mic. just pings and their experience and my understanding of how I should be playing by watching your hazard 5 videos and reapeerons hazard 5 videos. I seriously thought I was good until hazard 5 humbled me real quick. yalls videos have helped me mentally understand how to ACTUALLY play. so many mistakes can be made by playing lower hazards with little to NO repercussions. I love the vast differences in hazard 3, 4 and 5. makes it truly feel like a new experience. thanks bud!

Respect to how you play so well with just around 30-40 FPS! I have around 1k hours in DRG on PC and especially as scout, I get measurably worse under 60 FPS...

Thank you for noticing this detail. I have literally NEVER brought this up because it could sound like an excuse. But my crappy xbox always has the worst frame rates and I really need a new one. The low frame rate literally makes me play more defensive and cautious. Also thanks for watching, I appreciate you 🙏

I just got this overclock, and it's really fun to see how you balance it with your other weapons and even the support tools. And it's even better watching you play with a whole team with it and how everything is used in really rough situations. Yay for cheeky rez's!

Another good video! This build does look like lots of fun ^^ I don't have this overclock unlocked yet but will most definitely give it a go once I have it. Recently I've tried this one specific build with an elimination mission and oh boy, it ripped those dreadnoughts like crazy. Lok-I with chemical rounds (where the last of 3 bullets explode) this would help to take off the armor without worrying too much of bending the bullets in a specific way. And the shard difractor with something like overdrive? (Where you can't move once you activate it). This just eats away the DN's health! Tons of fun to play with! Keep up the good works! Already waiting for your next vid. R&S ⛏️

eyo that looks hella fun! still need to get more OCs, I like the boost one on shart diff. Also, ran out here to tell you that "Drilling in the Name of" mentions you in the grappling hook section of their Scout Mobility Guide! You're makin it BEEG baybeeeee

It's a good thing I didn't take criticism of this OC seriously, it's AMAZING. Seriously, with the LOK1 Rifle and this OC on the diffractor, dealing with all types of enemies is no issue even on solo. With just 30 ammo you can kill 10 grunts with the explosion. It's not the easiest thing to use but damn is it satisfying

Great video, this OC is my absolute favorite as well. The only suggestion I have is to try the slow mod. The 80% huge AOE slow is a game changer...

I will! After the update I've had to run friendly fire on this thing. I can imagine slow would be effective to keep enemies in the blast zone. Thanks for the comment and suggestion 👍

The overclock was tweaked and got a visual update on pc, does console get their updates much later?

@@TheLegendOfFLG they made the explosion the main feature of the gun. Time till explosion is also way shorter

@@TheLegendOfFLG Its a lot cooler now! It takes exactly 13 ammo (one second) for the explosion and there are a lot of added vfx. This is most definitely my favorite shard overclock too.

when did u record this? i mean last time i check explosive plats deal a lot of friendly fire dmg, a lot...

This was the edd 3 edds ago. I tested friendly fire the day I got the oc but that was forever ago. Also I'm on console so that may be a patch that hasn't come out yet. If so then I don't mind swapping resupplier for friendly fire if need be just to use this awesome oc😎

its really fun but in every run when i use it it bugs atleast twice and doesn't blow up the platforms and that make it inconsistent enough for me to take overdrive booster instead

Blowing up the platforms can actually be detrimental, since you have to set them up again, most people I see just like resetting the beam

@@UriPhoneCracker It's impossible to blow up an entire platform with 1 explosion from this OC, though. Even if you blow it up right in the middle of it with max radius, it still leaves a platform ring that's usable for more aoe damage or at least 2 more potential explosions if you want them
