The bizarre, yet strangely consistent imagery is enough to fuel endless speculation as to the meaning of this follow-up to Cement Mixer Simulator 2003. It's almost more of a surreal explorable artwork than a game... though there may be some scares as well.

What this developer should do is have interactions in this game unlock doors and areas in Cement Mixer Simulator if the player has both games installed. That would be next level confusion.

Hey hey! Just a recommendation, theres this game called: #21 The World that would fit your content perfectly. FYI: The things at 57:20 are(were) a real thing. They're called 'gibbets' and are, as you accurately surmised, a person sized cage into which someone would be locked and then dangled on the end of a chain. It was a method of public execution/torture used as late on as the 18th century, if memory serves (though don't quote me on that I'm no historian)

Some thoughts, I think the diagram at 43:09 could be a map maybe of the office area, also in the coffee bean room the weird circular thing that is buried might be the ruins of the circular map of cement mixer which connects to the pictures of the beak guys from that map on the wall near by, maybe or I’m just reading into it too much

as much as I love these videos I do feel like he talks a little bit too much and it takes away from the games atmosphere of what its suppose to feel like. not even 10 seconds of silence to just sit for a sec and listen to the music and take in what were viewing. it gets annoying after a bit just having every single little thing every single pixel, every atom, every particle, every speck of dust unnecessarily described in intense detail which then leads to a possible another unnecessary detail upon another detail from a game. or a memory that might be similar in some way which then takes about 5 minutes to fully escape his vocal chords and mouth and then just stands in one spot or going in circles describing the similarities or dislikes he has

In the last dark area with the reflective oil, there's a large pit with a floating ghost or w/e, and if you walk up one of the staircases near it, there is a hole at the top which you can fall down into a little area. And when ur in there, behind the largest creature is a walkway.

If what I've read is right, these games are based on the creator's dreams. If that's the case, the only interpretation I can get from this game is that he's an extremely creative person with genuinely good ideas, but he is often consumed and surrounded by working in a place he doesn't enjoy, often losing his track and inspiration from extenuation (The office level). Once he gets himself back to his comfort zone (the homes that are inside-out), he is unable to get himself inspired again and he is often suffering from a mental block, (the house filled with snow and the snow level). Once he finally gets on working on something he DOES enjoy, he feels like it's never good enough and tries pushing harder, hurting his own self-esteem in the process (The snow level when it turns dark with a red sun/moon/whatever it is). I wish I could give an interpretation to the dark level that it's inside the snow level, but I can't quite figure out what it could mean, my only theory is that it is a nightmare, probably caused because he thinks he is not good enough to do anything he does enjoy, going back to the dullness of his job, stuck in a loop where everything seems immobile because he feels nothing ever changes.

The audio of this really reminds me of the original BioShock's music tracks. The original music tracks werent so much actual tracks as they were randomly generated, choosing specific tones and notes based on a variety of things in game (how close you were to enemies, if they knew you were there, if you were carrying a weapon, how much health you had). The way it tends to fluctuate when you get to a point of interest feels less like a looping chorus and more like a guy is sitting behind me playing music to try and guide me towards the teleports, getting faster and louder as I get closer and slower as I go away like some absurd game of hot and cold

I only stumbled on your channel recently. It ironically started with your video on Cement Mixer. Your voice just- fits this type of content so well. Right now I'm listening to another one of your videos while typing this, hearing your opinions and occasionally glancing over to see what your speaking of and forming my own. Your right on this thing, like, there's 100% some kind of story in the background of this game. Honestly it feels like your a wanderer simply looking at the same instant of time. No motion, no life, no real impact. You can't touch anything, only see this moment your experiencing. A facility thats almost a city, with dozens of events happening all at once. A snowy waste, history long forgotten, yet the impact of those left behind. The odd apocalyptic ocean, perhaps a future of the world, or the past. It feels like that original zone you were in, where you start, is in every meaning, the present. And you are a ghost, drifting through the times of old to try and see what it came from.

17:15 I LOVE LEAN!!!💜💜💜 jokes aside these games are genuinely some of the coolest experiences I have ever seen (plus points for the low graphics look they use to make it look even stranger and more like a dream) also this game feels much more like it is intended to be more dream-like than nightmare-like (due to the creatures being less (imo) 'scary' and unsettling; the ones here are less humanoid with the faces and much more cartoonish.) at least for most of it edit: 24:55 for anyone wondering this is from Super Mario Galaxy 2, in Shiverburn Galaxy. The shadows are commonly referred to as 'Hell valley sky trees" if I remember correctly, something to do with file names. (just in case you didnt know)

The start reminds me of wonko the sane's house in a hitchhiker's guide. Since he thought he was the only sane person on the planet he built his house inside out to 'contain' the entire human race. He even had an entire 'indoors' on the outside of his house. Also at 40:22 The text art is of a crest you might find on a shield, enhancing the idea of make believe. At 43:07 the diagram could be some sort of floor plan? The guy seems to be colour coding it and you can see stacks of lines that could signify stairs.

I think that if the creator intended for this piece to have a message, it's that reality on its own doesn't make sense or have meaning, but we, as sentient beings with thought, give it our own meaning by nature. Our curiosity and desire for purpose gives the world its rules and logic when really it has none.

My initial thoughts of cement mixer 2003 have been further solidified by Handecad I'm only at the first part, with the little yellow dudes at their work; like I said in cm2003, this is more than probably a portrayal of mental health problems, alongside the issues society has. Might write a more detailed explanation, but basically Person with mental health issues, be it the author of the game, or a character we're looking through the eyes of, who clearly suffers with some sort of derealization, and overall struggles a lot with their living situation, in cement mixer 2003, it highlighted the people, and how they feel watched But in handecad, it feels like it's highlighting the overall world, how they're stuck in a loop, forced to work in a world of 'nobodies', probably more to it

I would love to see you play Superliminal! It is a mind bending game and one of the best games I've seen in years! It's made the rounds on YT Btw, these are some of the coolest experiences I’ve seen!

yeah but superliminal isn’t even creepy in the slightest why would he cover a non-creepy game when his channel description is “for all things creepy”

@@jdjdjdjd3058 The game has a creepy and eerie tone overall, not to mention the fact there's an entire spooky section of the game. Apparently you haven't played the game! Plus not every game he plays is very scary or creepy. I don't know why it matters to you. No one is forcing you to watch... 🤨

3:45 So the name of the game is roughly 11, there are (or seem to be) 9 houses, and the starting house is numbered 10. Almost as if the game wants you to dig, to trade your sanity for a taste of understanding of the author's meaning. 9:15 Scrat bear 18:45 Junji Ito vibes... 20:05 that "tree" managed a jumpscare for at least one person. 24:50 to see that the mollusk wasn't preying on the lizard, they're a single dragon-esque being. 25:15 Funny, when I first saw those watchers that's exactly what I thought of: "Hell Valley Sky Trees." 32:42 insert _1984_ reference 36:16 Prohibition tunnels 37:32 I'm sensing a snake motif 39:55 snake cult incorporated 46:58 *IT* *HAS* *TEETH!* 47:32 Is.... is that... a......... _baby_ _stroller?_ 51:00 Traditionally, turnips were used for jack o' lanterns... which that thing seems to be neither of. Wait... did it _hatch_ _from_ the egg? 51:30 I can't tell if those are mosquitos or spiders, I'm leaning more towards the former, which makes the hexagon hub even more disturbing. 52:22 Did anyone else notice how the room was a different place than it should be? How it shifts when you enter/exit? 59:00 The liquid almost looks like an oil or soap with its reflective properties. Well, that was a disturbing, and at times horrifying, experience. Snek Inc., that basalt world, and hexagon world were probably the most disconcerting, and also seemed to have the biggest horror.

Just looking at the odd pictures of the goats and things perhaps they are maps of different areas in the games? Even the unused ones.
