From coming from a cabinet builder standpoint, the boxes could look better. The stain is uneven, and the sanding could eliminate that. Also conditioner should be used before staining edges...so they won’t be so dark. I can give you some pointers on how to make them look better

These Boxes are Top Quality customized however you want them. Spare no expense when you want something high quality (triple baffle, plexi-glass, smooth Kerf, etc)

any thoughts for custom home theater sub boxes? i'm sure a lot of DIY folks would love to have some made to reach down to 10-15hz levels. great vid and love the enclosures.

If you use a Sundown U-Series 15 with 4cu.ft double baffled with 55sq.in of port tuned at 28hz you can play down to 10hz I did a 144db on 3k at 14hz and 150.1 at 28hz same power.

I'm not jp-just a fan but you can it's probably not recommended - but doable your gonna need a powerful amplifier for home audio or a seperate battery bank/ 12v power supply for a car amp.. Or a powerful home amp/stereo boom box amp & make sure the "ohms" are correct Also a sub in that box in a house/apartment would rattle the shit out of it & might make shit fall apart depending on the side of the room

Subwoofer enclosures for home theater are typically tuned much lower than what you would for a vehicle. Usually theater setups are in very large enclosures, and tuned at 15-20hz whereas a car enclosure is generally between 28-35hz. I guess what I'm saying is one of these wouldn't be ideal for a house.

i won't be disrespectful and post links but these boxes are overpriced. they do look like good quality boxes but there are other builders online doing the same shit for less $$ money.
