nah, he is just not on a thousand of podcasts like Mauler is. Less distractions. The Little Platoon is a man of focus, commitment and sheer will. @Danbearpig By the rest of the cast I'm assuming you're referring to Sol and possibly smylo. If not, we will have to agree to disagree. If that is the case, please refer to the last sentence of my defence.

The problem is that the guy who played Sol actually doesn't know what the words he's saying even mean. He's literally reading off a teleprompter, but he's very capable of portraying stuff like "Your character saw their friends die. Be sad." Amandla seems to struggle with basic line reading, so portraying "I'm sad," seems like a serious struggle for her.

This is the modern way, with different writers and often directors on each episode. It can work if you have someone talented and intelligent at the top keeping it co-ordinated. Here though... And remember that one of the writers' main demands in their strike was to insist that at least 6 writers contribute to every project.

Just because Jedi can tell apart members of the clone army in armour (despite being literal clones with minimal force presence) doesn’t mean they can tell apart 2 very different sisters who have completely different personalities, one of whom uses the dark side….. how could they tell apart 2 people who look alike????

To offer up an explanation that is almost assuredly well above the talents of these writers' heads, I have assumed from the beginning that the... ermm... unique creation of the twins has caused them to manifest the same force presence. Their little secret poem is suggestive of this explanation. But the writers have not only failed to properly establish this, despite ample opportunity on many separate occasions, the explanation _still_ wouldn't solve the many other reasons this shouldn't work.

@@Zara-Bari fair point well made but importantly if they are your aforementioned exception that's fine and I'm not saying it has to be explicitly spelled out in exposition but it would be helpful if it were at least implictly registered somewhere so that the audience could reason themselves into it so that it wasn't a void. It's similar to how Darth Hot Topic is apparently a Sith even though that's not possible by Rule of Two logic since we know that the reigning Sith Lord at the time of the Acolyte should either be Plagius or his master Darth Tenebrous and we know how Sith Lords react to rivals because of what happened to Maul and his brother in Clone Wars once they leveled up enough for Sideous to take notice bof them. So in theory either Darth Emo should be butchered by Tenebrous any day now or he's not actually a Sith in which case the writers have been lying this WHOLE TIME!

@@daltonmortimer7735 I absolutely agree that a lot of empty nothing burger time wasting could be filled by giving the audience, I don't know, clues of some kind as to why or how is any of this. But, you see, that would take a bare minimum five minutes effort to think of, and that's clearly more than went into this. Also if they tried to actually forge characters and mechanics, they'd quickly find themselves written into a corner they could not escape from (or at least unable to force events to take place the way they wanted them to because it would go against the mechanics they put in place), because they are that caliber of writers. We've already seen them become hopelessly entangled in what few mechanics and minor plot points they have given us. In fact, I remain convinced that the reality of this (rather than my headcanon explanation) is that this was actually a steamy captor/captive dark romance fan fic that has had all of its steam elements removed in the adaptation, leaving nothing but vacancy in the space the steam previously occupied. Stories of that type are really just an excuse to get from one steam room to the next, with little consideration given to plot, character or any meaningful mechanics. I myself have written a lot of fan fiction, but have never found it in my heart to respect this particular variety, so it is rather personally loathsome to find that it is the only kind of fan fiction that ever gets put on screen (think 50 Shades and After, for example)

As a fellow Pole, I love good palace drama, because people showing slight signs of emotion while having to pretend to be perfectly stoic is much more emotional for me. It could really work. You have to have really good actors to pull it off though, so popular way of creating period dramas is to change everything into contemporary, and it makes it boring. Gib me my alien but very human cultures!
