I'm not a guy, but I do my hair completely different. I only shampoo my scalp and condition my ends to keep my hair from getting too dry or too oily. I also do use a brush when my hair is wet to help my curls get more defined. Also, that's A LOT of product.

@@thelmarodriguez8658 Usually just once or twice. I also normally gloss over the clumped curls with mousse or gel after showering to help them keep there shape, and then I'll plop for a while. Hope this helps!

Sorry for the qs but I’m curious as it seems you have this method down well. 1. What brush do you use? 2. What mid-weekly styles do you do, and how do you get away with only washing 1x a week and not feel “gross” (I LOVE the feeling of washing my hair, face, body at the same time so it’s hard for me to be okay with not doing that)? 3. How do you dry your hair? T shirt, towel, scarf? I hope you see this and don’t mind answering, thanks!

I am loving to see these long haired men videos, we learn a lot from them!! I dont know what it is, but it seems they have original aproaches and styling hair tips. Plus they pass a confidence we dont see many times in women videos... Women are more hesitant and get confused more easily... My hair is a bit similar to yours but your is a lot more pretty!! Mine is more dry, and closed 3b/3b😊

This is my curly hair twin. Same length, same natural curls, although I wear my hair in straighter styles and use lots of hot tools bc I hate my curls. But this is exactly my same routine. Love my long hair.

Can I use Cantu coconut curling cream instead of mousse? My curls used to be exactly like yours until I damaged it by combing dry (frizz hell), and never using any curling products.

Glad y’all got on the curly hair train! Most difficult hair to keep looking good I think. Guy did a great job. Mines a bit thicker but not as long yet ( hey now) and I really did learn some good tips here! Couple questions for next video maybe? Do you let your hair air dry after this? How often do you do this whole routine? And if not everyday.. What do you do on off days? Example I only use shampoo once a week. Rest of week if I’ve been at the gym or been sweating I’ll just rinse hair good and then do leave in conditioner and gel. If hair hasn’t been sweaty or dirty for some reason I don’t wet it in the shower. How do you sleep with it? Different ways of wearing it for different occasions? Do you ever find the need to refresh the curls? Mine go straight from being pulled back tight. Do you get the ends trimmed? Do you have long layers? Or is it all one length?

How in the world do you not get frizz after washing your hair and not using any product such as oil, leave in conditioner, etc? I have long curly hair, wash my hair once a week and within seconds after I leave the shower it frizzes unless I apply some oil or product.

@J D he insists a bit too much on the hair length, the shampoo is supposed to clean especially the scalp and much less massaging is necessary on the hair, especially if you do not use products with a lot of silicon, mineral oil or other non soluble stuff. However, this guy is really lucky, his hair looks fine, but this routine will be extremely drying if not damaging for a lot of curly people.

@@banderas2000 I suggest you follow some female youtubers then. This channel is honestly a bit shallow about actual haircare tips. There are a lot, I started following Biance Renee Today and Manes by Mell, and from there I found many others. I threw away some products that were more damaging than useful, and I am learning a decent routine, and after some weeks I am seeing a difference.

I wash 2-3 per week. And on days that you don't wash it I either sleep with it in a top bun and let the curls loose the next day, or I rock the bun+pony combo. It starts to get pretty frizzy on day 3 of the hair being down.

1-2 a week depending if your hair gets oily quick or not. I wash my hair on Saturday or Sunday and on Wednesday I’ll co-wash( wash hair with conditioner) do add more moisture to the hair. And add a some more products.

I used to sleep with a bun like you said but my hair started to break a lot. I would also appreciate if you can do a video tutorial showing how you take care of underarm grooming. I can't shave my armpits without irritating my skin and I don't like the natural look cuz it’s bushy and spread hair. Thank you Sergio

I am in UK so use TRESemme hair shampoo and AUSSIE hair conditioner plus a cheap ALDI hair conditioner.. never used mousse..? My hair is really thick.. great video..

The problem is My hair is not thick I have a lot of fine curly wavy hair. Conditioner weighs My hair down and makes it look lip. So... What do you say to that?
