I’ve read a lot of stories that there are a good amount of people that go to LAW school later in life: 30’s, 40’s, even in their 50’s and 60’s. Everyone’s path is different. Just prepare and take it one question at a time.

I have been using The LSAT Trainer book to study and was FLOORED when I found the youtube channel. If you haven't already, I recommend buying the book if you are an independent studier. My base score without studying was a 153. I have tried the Kaplan online courses and did not really like the teaching style there, especially for the high price. I will update this post in November 2021 when I take the LSAT again. For reference, I am studying for about two to three hours a day using the book four days a week. My studying will probably get more intense as the test gets closer. So, in two months hopefully I will have a higher score!

I started thinking of taking the LSAT not too long ago and this was the first video I actually understood 😂. At first I was like, what’s up with all this, they’re trying to trip me up with the wording, there’s no way I can do this. But I took a breath and decided to pause the video and attempt to answer them anyway. Turns out I ended up getting them both right. You’re a good teacher, and I appreciate how you broke the Exam principles down, before even tackling the questions themselves. LSAT prep looks overwhelming initially because of the lack of understanding but this was a great introduction for me. Also, best of luck to everyone prepping, we can do this!

Great lesson as always, but the questions were too easy or I'm getting stronger at these types of questions. Nonetheless, I'm grateful for your videos.

Hi Mike, I'm not sure how to solve my problem but here's my issue. As a small business owner I have prided myself on being the guy in every group who thinks outside the box and finds solutions that no one else may have thought of; I tend to think about problems in very unorthodox ways. Having based my identity around thinking like this, I have real issues when it comes to thinking inside the box, specifically with a test like the LSAT, a test that only rewards thinking inside the box. How can I go about learning to think more inside the box?

Hi Mike: I have a question about The LSAT Trainer--which happens to be my favorite study aid by far! However, I'm wondering if I'm missing something or if there is a mistake with the Oldie's Diner question on page 461, #8 and 9. I don't see how they are provable....

The first question was written such that I conflated Atrens with the early entomologist. Is there a rule of grammar I'm missing that makes Atrens the narrator, and not the actor?

It was Artens: not Artens says. It's like reading the script of a play. The person speaking comes before the colon.

Got this question on an employment exam which is something like. Plato said that art is imitation of nature. At an art exhibition there were pieces of art that were just empty art frames with nothing in the middle. Could the empty exhibits be called art as Plato referenced it ? Got lost overthinking this one because depending on the viewer they could be either see through an imitation perception given the distortion of the frame or just seeing 20/20 which requires no creation of an imitation. Then again mirrored reflection of the senses could be called imitation ?

You're great. I sorry would like, with utmost respect and admiration, kindly bring to your attention that, whenever you say "no that's not enough" you don't really bring forth a clear explanation as to "why it's not"; for each of the wrong answer choices, you ask "is it enough" and say, "no, it's not"; but, what's most helpful, is to provide a Clear explanation as to why. I did get this question right myself, and did have C and E as two options; again, E might have but, when you explain why it's not enough, it makes a lot more sense: something like (I know you'd do much better than me): E is not enough, because while the fact that entomologist retracted his statement could seem as though that Artent's conclusion flows logicaly, this fact (of the entomologist retracting his statement) does not guarantee the conclusion, for, just because he retracted himself, it still does not actually ensure that he was wrong in the first place; for better clarity, I can give a simpler and similar argument: Person A could say Person B is a good guy; then, he could retract his statement, even though B indeed is a good person. .. Something along those lines; your opinion ? comments. I am very thankful for you and your channel.

I must say in the second question I thought you gave more explanations. Great job anyway on these videos; I know it may not be easy to make them. 🤗

Sorry, of course, i forgot to include, for the previous message: just because person A retracted his statement, it does not mean B is either a good or not good person :) ok , sorry for extra messages. Hope and wish for you a good and happy day.
