Im from tenerife man and u should make more videos about the island and less about to get wasted, by the way, why are u only in the south of the island? U should go to the north and maybe do some hiking and see how beautiful tenerife is, not only how cheap is to get wasted, really sad how people from england only come to tenerife to get wasted and act like crazy man, i hope that old tradition finish soon. I used to live just round the corner from the Victory in the Funchal apartments & later on Christian Sur. Used to drink there alot during the day in 2002. The sign used to read “The Victory great ales and fine wines”. 😁

UK govt will apparently announce tomorrow all tourists returning from spain to quarantine for 14 days due to the massive increase of covid 19 case in spain...

Just heard when returning from Spain to the uk, the 2 week quarantine is being enforced now. I’m assuming this will include Tenerife. We r due to fly out on 5th and won’t be able to afford to quarantine on our return 😥

I so miss Dorada- it is just perfect. I spoke to a bar owner in TENERIFE and he said the barrel only last 2 weeks as it is organic and is 4.6%. Which explains why it is so tasty and gets you wasted before you realise. It has been a year in October....I am going in September for 3 weeks - look forward to it so much.

Beverley hills club and heights was where I used to go to Tenerife every year for 2 weeks with the family :-) happy memories

The Apolo Centre is somewhere we often go for something to eat and drink, especially the 'Little India' restaurant just a couple of doors down from the Victory. Also the South Tenerife Christian Fellowship, an English speaking church on the top deck. A couple of years ago, had a sunbathe by the pool of our hotel in the afternoon, then went to a carol service in the evening ! Very different December weather from that at home. Pity our government have suddenly decided to quarantine all coming home from Spain - even if they lift this quarantine, nobody is guaranteed it won't be re introduced, for Spain or any other country, making it all but impossible people who work and have bosses to get away. Meantime your excellent vlogs very enjoyable, keep up the good work ! : }

Looks like you had a top time! For anybody wanting to visit, its right by the main Los Christianos bus terminal, near the roundabout. Have passed it a few times on failed attempts to do the Glasgow football mini crawl of Hoops Bar (5 mins walk from the Victory), Jags Bar (Americas 'the patch') and the Ibrox (San Eugenio) in one night!

According to the Foreign Office website quarantine includes Tenerife. Quite a few Covid outbreaks in Spain.

When we stay in Los Cristianos we catch bus from Airport always stop for our first 🍻 there before anything else, The Shire bar next door does great food, the Nottingham Forest fan is the Bar man from the Penny Farthing down near the Arona Gran you've not been down that area there's lots of bars down there x

The Victory is the bar we frequent when booking a table near were you parked the car at a Restaurant called Shorthorn Fabulous place for Meat lovers and lovely people Maria and Cundy husband and wife team that care for the meat they serve, watch out for Cundy he will play the trick on newcomers to Shorthorn. Yup just had it confirmed that Canary Islands are included in the 14 day quarantine so our August holiday now looks like its off. April was canceled seems its not meant to be. Gutted

Since the UK updated 14 day quarantine on returning to the UK, does this include Tenerife? People are saying no but others saying yes and the gov website isn’t very clear.

A few posts mentioning Spanish treat Spain and Canaries as one. My understanding is this new 14 quarantine is UK Gov. Nothing to do with the Spanish.

People returning to the UK from Spain (including islands) from midnight tonight (25 July 2020) will need to self-isolate for 2 weeks, with the country removed from the travel corridors list. Dis you know this ?
