The materials I use for this project
- Angle profile
- Drywall screws 25
- 9,5mm thick Gypfor plate for curves
- Channel 48
- 15mm Gypfor plate for the shelves.
Studs and channels for interior
Its composition is galvanized steel type DX51D and galvanized Z140 or Z275 that make up the framework of the load-bearing structure of partitions, cladding, shelves, shelves and drawers. The C-shaped profile that is installed in a vertical position and that fits inside the channel is called a stud. The U-shaped channels constitute the horizontal element that is fixed to the floor at the top and bottom. Both profiles have a knurled aspect that ensures the fit. There are several sizes but the most used are the 48mm and 70mm uprights and channels.
The uprights, despite the fact that when we work we use the name 48 or 70, one thing to know is that they always have a millimeter less than the channel so that they fit well inside it. For example, the 48 is 46.8mm wide and the 70 is 68.8mm.
These profiles are also used for mounting ceilings, especially when you don't have many options to hang from the floor.
Plasterboard plates:
These plates are composed of a plaster core with additives and covered on both sides with a sheet of cellulose. Its manufacture is carried out through a continuous lamination process and according to the standard.
They have a visible face depending on the type of plate you need, it can be cream, green, pink, blue, yellow that allows any final finish. The hidden face usually has a brownish hue. To facilitate the treatment of joints, the longitudinal edges are tapered. The transverse edges are cut. But there is also a type of plate on the market that has all the sharpened edges.
