Standard practice for testing a level in the trade, but probably not a known method by DIY-ers. I'm not sure the hardware stores would be happy with _everyone_ doing this as ultimately they would be left with a bunch of not-quite-so-good levels no-one wants to buy.

Tried the spirit level on drill trick before myself. Hopeless. As soon as drill is switched on the spirit bubble wobbles all over the place!

First tip is too clunky and inaccuracies with the big screws. Just put 2 pieces of tape, put marks on the tape. Done

Also wenn man in eine Wand bohrt lass ich mir eine liebel eingehen das ich nicht von oben nach unten Bohr oder von unten nach oben aber die zweite ist für'n Arsch da das Loch rund ist und es egal ist wie Rum ich die Bohrmaschine drehe Ein rechter Winkel von der Wand her wäre wichtig das ich nicht von links nach rechts oder rechts nach links in die Wand bohr😅

If you want to put a picture on a wall use a piece of scrap paper over the back of the picture and punch through the paper with a pen or a pencil. That will be accurate enough to then transfer the hole centres on to the wall. It is also far more reliable than two loose bits of crudely bent plastic glued to two nuts carefully balanced on the back of a spirit level . Typical pointless KZfaq hack which is totally unnecessary and over complicated.
