What I learnt from this: my Vanille and Fang are REALLY underleveled

Of all the characters, I had more hope in Vanille’s Eidolon appearance. Her’s is the last one to get in the game but it almost appeared randomly. The few lines of dialogue between her and Fang could have been more emotionally packed, but it seemed too short and conversational. I mean compare this moment to Sazh’s and Hope’s Eidolon battle. Vanille is the philosophical voice of this game, but I felt like this battle came up short.

Vanille isn't 19. She and Fang are chronologically the oldest members in the group. They're 619 and 621 years old respectively.

If you ever took the time to get items, you should have a couple Silver Bangles and a Gold Bangle. Put the Gold Bangle on Vanille for a +250 health bonus. Not to mention Mah'habara is a decent place to level. You could go for some HP ups in both their crystariums.

my characters have about 2300 hp each i geuss i should of spent more time doing missios but right now i dont have the patience to go back if i continue the storyline will i end up going there again? maybe this time with a chocobo

@tapion567 It took me FOREVER but just follow the same strategy as this video and switch often because that really helps.

@quito2lava Without the dash shoes, you'd need a synergist. He/she casts it at the beginning of battle if they know it. If you want the item, read through Master LL's description on how to get them. Hope I helped :)

@LeonardT1000 This fight is a lot easier if you level up Fangs sent role and get her a lot of health so she can take all the damage.

For those who are desperade to kill him. Level up Fang to the ponint till she can be a Ravager. Then its a piece of cake.

Hey, I did this first try with 2700 hp on vanille and fang. Just did mostly the same things on this video. The timer went down to below 100 tough^^. But.. I made it :)

Vanille and Fang and walking along, and Vanille identifies the local flora as part of Oerba, meaning they're close. And suddenly out of the blue, Fang reveals a MAJOR piece of plot development..... EQUALLY out of blue is this summon fight!! The thing that freaks me out: All. Those. ARMS........o_o Another quick summon fight. Uh.......is that some kinda cross between a wolf, an ultraraptor, and a Gatling gun turret? O_o Anyway, five stars!

i hated it that you get your summons so late in the game. and tp points takes really long to recharge.

Vanille’s Eidolon fight is the last one to get and they didn’t even make the scene for it emotional. In fact the placement of the fight is almost random bc as they’re walking the cutscene just triggers. I didn’t even have time to save and hade to reload back to another save file that was in a couple areas before. Even though there was a save point just before this fight, there was no indication I’d be fighting Vanille’s Eidolon and I lost many times. Anyways, all the other characters had an emotional entrance to their Eidolon fight meanwhile Vanille was plain and boring. Vanille is the voice of reason in the group sometimes and she even has some of the best dialogues in the entire trilogy, she is child-like but actually has so much wisdom. That child-like behavior is actually a facade for all the pain and endurance she had to go through during the War of Transgression. She is the one who pushes you when the going gets tough and I really wanted more from this fight.
