There are cats all over Tyria that are part of "Hungry cat scavenger hunt" that requires having the proper food to feed them. That area with the balloons is where several festivals take place. The next one is "Wintersday" (Christmas). There are several events with a winter theme. Lots of ways to get loot and special items. A jumping puzzle that will make you tear your hair out. Its one of the best seasonal events in the game. This year it take place 2023-12-12 - 2024-01-02. Main personal story is every 10th level. Some hero challenges are actual fights with better than average mobs. You have to be careful with gap-closer type skills. I can't tell you how many time I have sent my toon off a cliff to its death. Anything you can do that gives XP will count in filling a heart, even if it isn't on the list. So killing those spiders where the wasps were, counts towards filling the heart as long as you are in the proper area. All the races have racial utility skills. They all are very poor/weak. Train and equip ones that are profession based. You don't have to click that tiny arrow over the skill icon. You can right click the whole icon. Players complained about that tiny arrow and the devs added the right click. There are single use and permanent multi-use merchants and Lions treaders that appear next to you. Don't forget to use the button in top right of your inventory panel to send crafting mats to storage. You can also start try to salvage unwanted gear into crafting materials. There are multiple levels of salvage kits. Always use the best you can to get more/better results.

Definitly the Metal Concert at Gorthmar Valley - i got surprised so much by that one. I love the atmosphere of the players right when its going on and the teamtwork needed to compelte it - also this is a very unique style of "bossfight" in a MMO which i love so much about GW2 with alot of things there :)

I'm new to the Gw2 universe aswell, I'm really enjoying the game without any expansion, got to lvl80 and Im trying to do some end game content, pvp, wvw, overall is bein so good! Unfortunately I just did a few bosses but I liked the end boss story, not the fight itself but the end of what I was doing for many levels to get there, the visuals, was epic! I hope u can enjoy more of it, I will stay here watching ur pashion that u show for these games 👊🏼

My favourite "boss" fight would be the "world boss" i randomly ran in to only a few hours in to playing. Imagine being level 10 or so just messing around the human newbie zone running in to a swarm of players taking down one of the biggest "bosses" I'd ever see in a game before. And just thinking... "wft have i just got myself in too 😮" Best introduction ever!!!

My favorite boss fight happens in WVW when trying to take Stonemist Castle located in the center of the Eternal Battlegrounds. Not only is the Lord hard to take down but you have to deal with other players as well from the other teams and every fight can be different.

56:50 old news for you now but maybe helpful for anyone else watching who hasn't played, you get access to salvage kits and you can salvage all of the junk items you find and then either sell the materials on the auction house or send them to the bank, so inventory space isn't an issue at higher levels :)

The meta in tangled depths leads to a muliple lane boss fight. It’s fun to commander up and align with the others on each lane. And the boss Chak is a big meany.

All time favourite? Probably Sunqua Peak Fractal Boss, the Elementalist. It's a love-hate relationship. She's definitely one of the harder fractal bosses, and I've gotten stuck on her plenty of times with various parties. But the way she combines mechanics of 4 previous bosses, each of their interesting on their own just makes it stand out even at first glance, and since all the mechanics are skill-based, it makes beating her feel rewarding. She also tends to force the party to split apart, and is a nice test of the party's ability to stay together for the sake of stacking buffs. And if the party fails at that, the chaos and having to think on your feet is cool in it's own way. The fight is also quite a spectacle visually, as she showers the entire are in fire, meteors and water waves.

I really enjoy your guild wars 2 journey. Here are a few tips that came up while watching the video: 1. Most skills in guild wars don't require a target. So you can just use them without any enemy selected. For example your greatsword 3 can be used as a general way to cover some ground or jump over gaps 2. If multiple NPCs or objects are close to oneanother your interact key (F by default) will prioritize the one you have selected with for example left click 3. The heart "quests" your see in the open world do not require any interaction with the NPC. If they pop up you can complete it by doing any of the task listed in the top right. If your done you get the reward regardless of where you are 4. The UI you see when right clicking the swap weapon button is showing your available build and equipment templates. They are basically presets so you can swap builds on the fly. Equipment templates contain all your gear and build templates all the traits and skills. You can also see them at the top of your hero panel if you are in the equipment or build section (the numbers at the top). You can switch between them either with the aforementioned UI or by binding it to a hotkey If you have any further question i am glad to answer them.

My favourite boss fight is the world boss Tequatl - players old and new, low level to high, get together to take him down every day, every time he spawns there is at least one map doing it, usually more than one. The banners, food, chairs and dad jokes come out while waiting for the cry 'there's something in the waaater...'.

my favourite boss fight would be the one which impressed me most when I did it for the first time. it's the open world boss *Claw of Jormag* on the lv80 map high up in the Shiverpeak mountains (Frostgorge Sound). it's one of the generals of the _elder dragon Jormag_ and looks like a dragon too. what was impressive is the scale of the boss, its mechanics with the constant fear condition and of course the majestic music filling your ears. the music alone is so captivating and powerful, when you hear it the first time you know something huge is on its way to get you and you think you'll never going to make it out of it alive. it gets your blood pumping. very satisfying when you survive the ordeal.

Fun fact those escort mission/events can happen all around the map and does gives a lot of reward and exp. Anytime you finished them I recommend don’t leave just yet because usually there’s a follow through right after that and eventually lead to a boss fight. As long as the NPC still talking it ain’t over. I recently knew about this and it took me by surprise and I was level 50 😂. Once you got that specialisation unlock you can use those hero points to boost your stats and play around with which once suits your playing style. And lion arch is where most players hangout to craft buy etc2… anyways love the journey I’m sure you’ll enjoy as I am ❤

I can't wait to see what you'll do after reaching level 80, because I'm also a newbie and confused about what to do at level 80. Right now, I'm hustling to unlock some mounts quickly

The best boss is in my opinion last boss from Shattered Observatory fractal: The Arkk. (CM version) The gameplay is fast paced and mechanics are cool as well, especially when you compare bad group vs good group ;)

So, you like achievements, eh? This game is insanely loaded with 'em. I'm approaching 37,000 points after about 10 years off playing. There are some good rewards along the way, including two complete sets of weapon skins, two sets of armor skins (including backpacks at the very high end), gems to buy items from the gem store, and more. Been really enjoying your videos. Watching someone wind their way through the game for the first time brings back so many great memories. I hope you'll get as much enjoyment out of this massive world as I have. You're off to a great start, taking your time and soaking it all in.👍

If you want a fast leveling process i recommend you keep stacking power (physical damage), precision (crit chance), and ferocity (crit damage), ((anything below level, 60 power is the most important stat)) the wizards vault replaced the old daily system that was mentioned at the level 13 reward all vistas can be reached without mounts... and in some cases faster xD

My favorite boss fight is CM Cardinal Adina who is a boss in Raid Wing 7. The platform you fight on has a bunch of hexagonal stones that periodically disappear for various reasons which keeps you on your toes the whole fight. You really have to play smart because if you fall it's insta death. Also, the 5 farthest players get a pillar placed on them and you use these pillars to hide behind during a big explosion. Lots of fun, great rewards!

My favorite boss in GW2 is Adina from wing 7 raid. I just think the way the platform is manipulated is a great way to do a boss. Reminds me a lot of FFXIV bosses

Oh the Daily system got reworked last month with the new expansion, it seems the tooltip wasn't updated. It's called the wizard's vault now, you'll find it at the top right corner of the UI. It also has its own menu with Dailies, Weeklies and other special stuff. It's very good for new players especially, as it will be a massive source of resources and gear. Highly recommend giving it a look. Some of the things I'd highly recommend you get from the reward pool: the Ascended weapons and armor chests. You won't be able to use these till lvl 80 but they are absolutely invaluable to have beforehand. The laurels and gold bags (the cheap, limited amount ones!) are very good too.

Best part of the video for me is that HEROIC PIG fighting to defend the Garrison from Centaur attacks. hahahaha

Dragonstand is my fav boss, you have to coordinate three paths to get to the gates, then down bosses in the middle, next get to the main dragon in that area where you have to take him down, this takes about an hour or less depending on your map, the constant agro with foes makes this map not boring.

my favorite boss fight is mordremoth's mouth fight on dragon's stand at that time i had only played the free version of the game and loved the story, but had to leave the game as i had to continue studying and had no money for the expacs, years later i started working and finaly had a regular pc that could play the game, i enjoyed the hot story so much and had tons of fun on all the maps, the new class for my 2 or 3 characters and the adventures i had through it, all to culminate on a 30 minutes long journey on the last map to end up in an epic battle against a giant worm dragon, all with an army of coordinated people helping and guiding everyone else

Thank you for another great video! 1. My favorite Boss fight in GW2 has to go to the final story boss of the PathOfFire Expansion (no name because spoilers). The scale, mechanics, music and visuals just left me speechless! 2. If you're looking for another fun game I can strongly recommend LastEpoch. It's an ARPG that is about to release in february. Currently playing it beside GW2 and its a blast!

Favorite boss fight for me would be Deimos. The end boss to raid wing 4. With the new expac that came out. Have a newfound respect for it!

Re jumping in Tyria - all of those vistas etc were in place when there were no mounts so you should be able to do them without having to use the mount ...

Favorite boss fight ... kinda torn between Gorseval and Dragon's stand end boss. The core story continues every 10 levels, inbetween you can level by exploring, killing mobs, completing heart objectives and generally progress map completion. Additionally the character progression achievements shower you with XP.

All boss in gw2 is so bad ass, but modniir ulgoth for me is my favorite boss ,becatof his dialogue before the fight begin, I always listen to his dialogue in his event time,so cool,you can find him in harathi hinterland

The story goes by levels, when you have the necessary level the next part of the story is unlocked, in the meantime you can level up by doing missions and exploring the map

My fav Boss is Balthasar. Theres just so many Things leading up to it, and it‘s The First real 1v1 with a God which also has a satisfying Ending with Kralk! :)

At this point should really only be stacking power on your gear to kill stuff faster.

My favorite boss is definitively Ai(with dark Ai) from the fractal CM "Sunqua Peak". The theme of the fractal was made after the developper had to suffer grief and used it as an outlet and it really make you feel something. It's not just a random boss fight and you fight her manifestation of grief, doubt or sorrow. It's a really cool and movemented fight! Bonus : Ensolyss which use the BEST SONG in the game : Breachmaker.

i got to lvl 80 last week with 37 percent map completion and one time i was exploring and there was a purple portal i was able to enter where other players were fighting a spider boss super random i know and i rlly like that because i got good loot even tho i was new dont even know the bosses name

man, my favorite fight is probably dragonstorm, such a epic event, fighting between 2 dragons and watching them clash after.

remember all the vistas in the base game can be done without mounts, because they did not exist when back then!

At 42:40 you literally hovered your mouse over the waypoint and it clearly said "Click to teleport" :) Also you did see the mentor standing there right where new players first spawn, you realized that he flagged himself up to help people - but the thought of just writing "Hi, can you tell me how to use waypoints" never crossed your mind. I love watching newbie videos ;) Before, when the second utility skill became available and the skillslot was flashing at your for minutes screaming "I AM NEW AND AVAILABLE, PICK ME LIKE PIKACHU" you never noticed - keep it up, watched all three videos. Oh and someone might already have mentioned it but - all of central tyria (every map that existed before the expansion releases) was designed without mounts or gliding. Of course mounts and gliding can used in a ton of little challenges - but if you want to feel like you ACTUALLY achieved something and not like you just cheesed it: Do it without mount ;)

only just had your ch recommended so probs late but in guild wars? Shiro Tagachi cuz soloing on assassin made you feel like a hero and his daggers were huge.. In gw2 tho claw of jawmag as its one of the early bosses that really had an epic feel first time running into it

You story will continue every 10 lvs. So just keep exploring doing stuffs until reach the lv

alltime favorite.. Harvest temple in dragons end id say. just because Soo Won is so pretty yet deadly. very impressive when she swirls around the platfrom. as for other games, you might like Ark survival Ascended ( or the previous; Ark Survival Evolved) Asa is prettymuch a remake of Ase

It seems that people didn't play in the open world nor participated in events (thus not getting to know the game strength and mechanics) to follow the story even under leveled, so story got locked every 10 levels...it's unfortunate, but that's how it is...

earlyish in the vid you comment about "im probably stacking too much of it (in reference to the power stat) honestly its one of the stats you CANT have too much of, yes you could probably take othe rthings to min-max efficiency.. but ESPECIALLY while leveling that isnt too important! if you take all damage stats, treat the game like say.. Dark souls, roll often and roll smartly! lol
