Right off the bat there is no such thing as a non-certified coder. All coders have to be legally certified in the United States.

Winner of a video, I have been researching "national medical billing coding certification" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Lukesey CPC Carnage - (just google it ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my work buddy got amazing results with it.

Cheers for this, I have been researching "free medical billing and coding study guide" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Penailey TelepathicPrincipality - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? It is a smashing one of a kind guide for discovering how to passing the AAPC exam for Certified Professional Coder without the headache. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my partner got great results with it.

AAPC is the name of a certification agency that trains people to become coders. CPC means Certified Professional Coder.

hi sir I've been watching most of your videos here about medical coding. I'm in a dilemma right now because one company offered me a below average pay from what i'm receiving previously from a non medical coder job but the deal is they will be paying all the training for medical coding and exams for AAPC and the catch is there is a lock in period of 2 years. Is it true in what you said that if i didn't fulfilled the contract they can withhold the certification even if i passed the AAPC exam? I really do want to pursue having a certification and eventually have it as a stepping stone when i go to abroad.

For a medical coder here in the ph, you must pass the cpc exam, it will be worth it. The offers starts at 100k. You will earn more if you’re a USRN.

Hi AniMelody. You can try HIMTI or HCBI. Or if you want to have the best in the business. PM the medical coding guy himself. CPC is the most recommended certification because it opens a lot of opportunities. Billing/Transcription/Revenue Cycle etc/.
