This is the only time so far that “Fantasia” ever had an end credits sequence. Also, the orchestra members leaving is actually footage from the intermission, which hadn’t been seen since 1940. It’s also worth mentioning that on this VHS tape, the “Fantasia” title card is placed at the very beginning of the film like an ordinary movie, but in the original 1940 release, (which was restored for the 2000 DVD) the title card was shown after the curtains closed and remained projected on the screen for 15 minutes during the intermission until the second half started.

In the 2000 60th Anniversary DVD, they could have shown these credits as an individual bonus feature titled "1990 Release Credits".

in the vhs version of Fantasia the host Deems Taylor was onscreen for the first intro and was kept long but for the other intros it showed shots of the orchestra and he was offscreen and his speeches were short.

The 2010 release didn't have the credits at the end. And it's sad really how Disney treats Fantasia more like a vintage treasury or a project from long, long ago rather than a movie.

I felt very sorry for the 1940 movie "Fantasia" because it didn't have the closing credits. I left the movie theater with tears of sorrow in my eyes in 1983 because of my mother's death six years earlier.

Can someone help me out because I heard that apparently, the night on bald mountain segment was so scary for kids that it was edited out on the vhs release despite the fact the basically every copy of the vhs has the scene in it.

I was thinking about remixing the ending of Barney In Concert to the end credits of Fantasia, since it doesn't have sound to it.

Was this the first Disney animated feature to have ending credits instead of having them in during the opening like most of the beginning Disney films?

Does it says "Re-Released by Buena Vista Pictures Distribution, Inc." and followed by Walt Disney Pictures closing logo at the end of Fantasia?
