All fun fairs should offer a Deca Dance! Better effects and lighting than some nightclubs I used to frequent.

Hi, I am a citizen of Kortrijk and I really enjoy random videos like this were you explore the smaller stuff that Belgium has to offer. We do have an amazing fair and it's really an icon of the city and we are really proud of it. ps: Kortrijk is a city and not a town.

Deca Dance is my favorite fun fair ride as well, each ride I've had on it was so damn good!

I will always be amazed how Shawn is just casually narrating the vlog while getting thrown about on those extreme flats. 😂

wow! i was scrolling trough your videos and suddenly i saw the name of the city i live in, Kortrijk! couldn't believe it! so strange to see you walking in the same streets i walk in everyday 😀so, welcome to my town! i hope you had a wonderful time, here! yeah that Decca Dance is the place to be when you're at Paasfoor Kortrijk. And for as long as i can remember the Decca Dance has always been the highlight of the fair. When i was a teenager i just went to the fair with my friends to eat some oliebollen (translated to English: Grease balls😄) they are deep fried dough balls with powdered sugar on top of it. that's the classic thing to eat at a fair in belgium. And we just ride the Decca Dance until our money was all spent. And when we didn't had any money left we just hang around the Decca Dance to watch the ride and enjoy the music. Fun times! In the weekends there is also a DJ playing at that ride! I was pleasantly surprised to see you in my city😀. So you're more then welcome to visit us again next year and have another spin at the Decca Dance! 😉

When you are in Belgium and there is a fair where you find the Move It 32 from Van Herck, you defenitly have to do this one 😉. The best fun fair machine in Belgium. Great to see you loved the fun fair here.

So glad “a friend” told you about this fair as it’s one of the best street fairs I’ve ever visited, Deca Dance alone is worth the trip over there, hands down one of the best flat rides in the world

Bless you Charlotte we had to laugh , it’s soused ‘Herring’ 😂 Fish ! Not a ‘Heron’ the bird …It’s a delicacy that Belgium and Holland love . Love you both to bits but you really need to get some culture when you travel abroad so much ,and try things other than Theme park chips , doughnuts , and the usual stuff .

Wow all the times I’ve been to a fun fair I’ve never seen a fair this to be so busy hectic what a great turnout, I guess you trying to find the different sections was a bit of a surprise mission going along random detours to locate these scattered around the town. I did enjoy watching some of your on ride pov’s some of the rides look too intense made me feel dizzy 🥴 the flashing strobe lighting effects but over all hope you enjoyed your riding Shawn after the fan of the channel shared this fair with you which was really sweet of them

it’s not just the european theme parks that are way in front of ours but some of the fairs are incredible over the water .. we cud definitely be making more effort over here..

I’m fairly sure that’s the same top scan that came to Ilkeston and other fairs in the UK a couple of years ago and it’s now under new ownership. It’s looking brilliant but the main highlight of the fair is of course Deca Dance! That thing looks insane! 🤯

That top scan was owned by Stanley Reeves jnr in the UK it had the same cycle as I remember. Such a good ride, I miss it.

Although, they are refereed to as the Franco-Belgian comics (Astérix, Lucky Luke, The Smurfs, Tintin, etc.). And erm, I don't know if you ever have drive into Lille from Belgium, but I remember seeing spelled "Rijsel" on either a sign or a building. Perhaps even both. Yes, to this day since Rijsel originally spoke Dutch there is still well, at least a fond feeling towards Dutch in that part of northern France. And likewise we sort of still mourn that it's Lille, along with the region in France now. Speaking French. Instead of Dutch. Like proper Flanders. Oh well. If anyone knows, please reply. ''The Audio looks great'' ... wait what? but yeah .. that machine is top notch quality, all around ! sidenote: The prices are off , because the showmen need to pay for the place where the attraction is .. so different spot is different price to setup your attraction

Oh boy! Kortrijk has one strange fun fair! The one's you need to do if you're a fan of these things in Belgium is the summer fair in Brussels and the one in Antwerp. Those are big!

You obviously had great fun at this fun fair. We sometimes go to Belgium /Ostend in October time and they often have a fun fair on in the evenings I have noticed.

Fantastic video. These ride operators put ours to shame with their 5 min cycles. The UK is just one big rip off with everything. Proof is in the 6 euro price for that XXL and it being more here and a short cycle. As for your love of lighting Shawn, I'm the same as I work in events and it's my fave bit when I plan my lighting at venues in and around London. I'll always be playing around during events when I should be doing other things 😂 Deca Dance certainly looked amazing. Great vlog as always you two. ❤

Nice Vlog! & some great machines there, very unique layout how the fair is split into sections, usually at UK street fairs it is continuous and there’s usually no separations haha 😅, nice to see the ex UK Xtreme top scan there 👍🏻

Rode Deca Dance serval Times its so good. But there is another breack Dance who travels ins France and Luxemburg, It has the same Structure with ligts, and its really close to DecaDance.

The sad thing is that Xtreme Top Scan used to travel the UK Circuit only a year or so ago. What happened to our amazing flat rides? So glad we still have the XXL in the UK at least …
