They have definitely slowed the coaster down over the years. In the 80s and 90s they barely used the break and it used to fly round. Health and safety no doubt! It also didn't used to have the secondary lapbar.

I remember back when I was a child I went on the snails alone, came back and my parents weren't there waiting for me. I told the ride operator I was lost and when they did find my parents they were absolutely drenched having sneaked off to go on the log flume XD. A very fond childhood memory we often laugh over.

Hey Shawn and Charlotte I watched your Joyland 2020 Vlog yesterday and started to watch this vlog yesterday but didn't get to finish watching it. I love it when your parents are in your Vlogs, I absolutely loved your Mum's reaction to Whirlwind, and I loved Charlotte's reaction to every ride she went on. On selected dates in September and October, it's 12pm - 4pm for £12. Charlotte's reaction to the Log Flume was so hilarious, I was crying tears of laughter. The first time I went to the Pleasure Beach was in July last year and I have been before last year but I only went on the Monorail, I love Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach so much, I've only been here, Joyland and Pettitts Animal Adventure Park. It's a shame it rained when you were there, and hopefully, Lightning 360 will be working when you go there next year. Hope you had an incredible time and thank you for making this Vlog Molly

I live in Norwich about 40mins away from Yarmouth. For such a tiny place like Norfolk we are lucky to have the theme parks we have although small compared to the bigger ones around the country they still make great memory making trips. I think most people rember their first time on the Roller coaster at pleasure beach, and the snails at Joyland. I’ve not been to Pleasurewood hills for years so no idea what’s still there but I rember my first time on the pirate ship.

A company should make a theme park with just log flumes Charlotte would love it there 😂

Definitely Charlotte is the star of the show...my favourite is the Log flume especially when Charlotte is riding them 😂

Thank you for the trip down memory lane at Great Yarmouth!It was our annual holiday in my childhood, (back in the 70's, yes I'm an oldie!lol!) the snails and tubs look as much fun now as I remember, and the wooden coaster started my love for coasters, luckily we got to Orlando last year for our second trip, still love Hulk but the new ones at Seaworld are awesome! Thank you Sean and Charlotte for the quality vlogs, especially from the smaller parks, a lot of which I never knew existed!look forward to the next one!x😄

How lovely was it to see your Mum and Dad Join you too, Mum adored the rollercoaster and was brave enough to put her hands up, we are up there Bank Holiday weekend, looking forward to it.

That was so cool that your parents meet up with you and Charlotte. Sure was a rainy evening, but glad that you still managed to have fun. The Roller Coaster looked really neat with the wall there and a fun little classic ride. That was cool with Twister that they had a backdrop from the movie. I loved that fun house there!

My grandad was the brakeman on the Rollercoaster in the late 50s to early 60s. Such a classic wooden coaster still going strong to this day! I first went on Rollercoaster in the early 2000s and I always used to scream on the second drop! 🤣

I remember going on the monorail ride quite a few times at night. It always looked so pretty with all the colourful lights along the main beach front 😍 also I’m glad they changed the theming in the fun house. Last time I was there it was clown theme and dark with luminous green lighting. Scared me half to death 😂
