Using excerpts from the first and third movements, but still maintaining the formal and harmonic integrity of the original, this adaptation allows even middle school players to experience the unforgettable themes from Holst's masterwork. Also, the March movement is very effective when performed by itself.

March was a huge buzzkill all-around, especially the final strain of the melody being cut in half, but it's for beginners so what can you say.

no way is it a grade three, a tricky grade two for sure but it's definitely not demanding enough to be a grade 3

It's a grade 2 piece guys. It's meant for beginners. You all need to realize this and move on LOL

You need to realize some bands are different 🤷🏽‍♀️ not all bands are the same. im in advanced and we still play some things that aren’t as advanced 💀 and a beginner level is grade one 😂😂😂

theres nothing wrong with simplified arrangements. Pianists do it all the time. And it gets beginner musicians playing and listening to some great pieces.

I played this in 7th grade, and then the original in high school. Loved them both
