Love the acting, excellent one-liners, and good story flow; there was a bit of confusion about the motive of the guy who wanted to take over the bunker. It's not a real reason, but it needed a villain.

With the rest of the low budget looking scenes, I think that van actually gave them problems when starting. It looked like he was actually turning the key, and he was actually frustrated.

Deeper still, having a very low first gear can help push or pull the diesel engine to start provided there's no fuel break that needs power to open. A diesel will run if there's fuel and air going into the cylinder after the cylinder head compresses this until combustion. (some people thinking that they know a lot about cars will say otherwise, ignore.) (what they say only holds true, if there's electronics and/or spark plugs and/or fuel break involved.) Needless to say that electric cars can only be kept safe if the garage has/is a farady cage as a whole. Also, the newer brushless electric engines need fine electronics and thus are more susceptible. Old brushed electric engines may yet work, if they need only a power source, which oddly can be a handheld diesel generator.
