I've also ran into some fit issues that were self-induced. If I was building the ship all over again, I probably would reference this video at the beginning of the build to try and prevent what I did early on. But all of those details are shown in this video and what I did to correct my mistakes.
This is the episode where we go from a "neat" looking ship to one that really gets your attention! I'm loving this build!

What I don't like about model kits is that the prefabriacated stuff doesn't look right. Carvings, like we see on the real deal, would look much better. Good work, though.

What carvings are you referring to on this kit? Or are you saying in general? And in general, how would you carve something this small and make it look like the real thing?
