The little 'rattle' with the holes, reminded me of the thing a priest uses to sprinkle holy water. You'll have to start a mini church now. 😁❤❤

Omg nanny’s dollhouse!!! Sooo many treasures!! The teeny nick nacks and things oh the walls!!!! I could cry they’re so sweet. I even love that they’re not perfectly in scale so they’re more like an assortment of tiny treasures than a totally believable room. I prefer that actually.

The item you got for free looks like a chocolate mixer. You hold the handle between the palms of both hands and move the handle with the palms move your palms back and forth. This will froth up the chocolate. Used commonly in Mexico.

Those dollhouses look priceless. I really am wanting to start my own journey with a dollhouse. I had one as a child but passed it on to a family nearby that was having a hard time financially. That was 20+ years ago and I will never forget the smiles on those 3 girls faces. Although in a way I do miss it now. I had actually gotten a lot of the furniture and miniature items from a store we have where everything was $1. Those girls are grown now and I would feel too intrusive to ask whatever happened to the dollhouse but I do hope it was passed on to another family. Santa brought it to me and that was one of my best Christmas memories being a small child. I adore these videos. Thank you for letting me ramble on and for making these delightful videos.

Loved the tour of Nanny’s dollhouse! The little mystery item you have that looks like a tiny rattle is actually quite a rare little prize! I believe it is a miniature carved bone pomander. It would have been filled with herbs or other fragrant material and used much like a small vinaigrette that one might have carried, to ward off foul odors back in the day, of which there were plenty. Google ‘miniature bone pomander’ and you’ll find more of these delightful Victorian artifacts!

Interesting mystery item! Kind of looks like an antique muddler to me.

Just looked it up and the stick with holes in the ball at the end is exactly like a blessing stick.. Don, t know it, s name but in church the priest bless the people on some special occasions shaking it with holy water towards the people attending, on internet you can see the pope doing this, but I have Seen it being used at Easter and in funerals, blessing the coffin... But you can use it as a rattle, unless you make a church, lol.

This is simplify amazing and very inspiring. When my little girls and I take a particular walk we always see a tree that has a very fetching hole. We say that it should be a fairy home every time we pass. You’ve inspired me to turn our musings into a fun project!

If you're too self conscious maybe Kate should do the filming next time you go to a fair, this part could have been a bit longer but totally understandable, I'd be incredibly embarrassed myself. Your mum's dolls houses are incredible with fascinating bits and Bob's. They are not really bits and bobs they are individual memorys, moments in time captured in miniatures, glorious.

The plates of food and the pink cups ect are 1970s I was given the same set for my doll house back in the day.

That antique fair looked amazing. I sure would have had a blast there. I loved the rabbit hutch and sewing machine you showed there. Your mum's/grandmum's collection could rival any show though. I just loved the green & white house. My very favorite item out of that was the hand-painted/decorated dresser in the nursery. She also had a beautiful sewing machine. It must be fun for you to look through her collection, it's like going to a dollhouse museum. 👏👏😊

On the 21st and 22nd of October we have a dolls house fair in Asturias.. It, s once a year and people from all over Spain go to it and this year y sons are going to take me... Saving up already, I want to buy a roof for my house and some other things.

Such a delightful video. Haven't a clue what the mystery item is. However, an easy way to determine if it's ivory...locate a hidden area, heat a needle or pin tip to red hot and touch the item. If it smells like burnt hair, it's ivory.

The thing that looks like a rattle could be a maraca. I don't know much about it but the Victorian rattles I've seen are all metal (real ones anyway, not doll size). At first I thought it could have been one of those ball and stick toys but as it has holes in the top, I think maraca is more likely. Could also be a fancy toilet brush upsidedown 😉
