34 k subs now. Will reach 100 k by the year end for sure. Haven't seen a more sensible motorcycle rider. No histrionics,no foul language,no e begging. Excellent narrator. Keep it up mate.

"No e begging".... yep ! I noticed/appreciated that too. I get irritated with all the "product placement crap",- with others (eg Simon/Lisa Thomas vlogs). .... I get the feeling, that because MF has other income sources, we can all trust his product reviews. Honesty / Integrity is important. I remember TMF criticising a GS screen, I enjoy the fact we can have confidence in his product observations.

Yes I agree: I subscribed after watching the beginner's guides about a year ago, and TMF has been my favourite vlogger channel since. I quite like the "tour guide approach", for us people watching from abroad it's quite interesting to get some background information on the places that are driven through 😉

Another lovely video - especially as you were going through my "ancestral homeland" of East Yorkshire. As children we watched the Humber Bridge being built, and even had a day off school when it was officially opened! Since then I've walked, cycled and driven over it many times, but not yet been over on a motorcycle - something for my next trip back to the UK perhaps!

Nice one Andy - those were the days eh when you'd get a school day off for a local event of importance...not sure that would happen today, kids have to be in school no matter what is going on (would you believe a few years back we had a solar eclipse - rare around here - and the local school wouldn't let the kids out to safely view it...)

TheMissendenFlyer plenty options. A friend of mine (non biker mind you) was raving about Pembrokeshire, as well as North Wales. As a Scotsman, I'm inclined to encourage you back up here of course. However I enjoyed a bike trip down the west coast of Ireland too. Worth consideration, although it's the adventure and remoteness that you go there for, more than the scenery (in my opinion)

Very good, thanks. I've been to Coningsby a few times and have seen the BBMF Lancs and Spits doing touch and goes. Pity you didn't have more time to detour to East Kirkby and see Just Jane, their taxying Lanc... but the weather did look pretty crap... If you are into the Dam Busters, Woodhall Spa is well worth a visit as well. I have stayed in the Petwood Hotel - 617 Officer's mess during the war. Lovely part of the UK - Cadwell park isn't far away... Rgds Glenn

Did you know that when you crossed over the Humber bridge you was only 20mins away from guy martins pub. The marrowbone and cleaver at kirmington. His sister runs it and he's often there and the foods really good, but book in advance....tattershall castle was home to Oliver Cromwell.👍🏼

Hi TMF one piece of useless information a famous Lambretta racer came from near Malton called Arthur Francis I believe there is a tuning shop bearing his name near there. Great vid, I like that on the bridge a lane for bikes, excellent.

Great video yet again TMF, happy to see you are doing well with the subs also, well deserved. On a side note, I've heard you mention on more than one occasion that your shoulders were starting to hurt a little after a long days ride. I've experienced the same problem, if you can call it a problem, on my GSA and just fitted bar rises to see if they help. I was wondering if you have ever fitted them to any of your bikes and if so, did they make any difference? I haven't had a chance to test them yet, as it's been storming all week here in Houston but will be heading out at the weekend to give them a go.

No I've not tried bar risers - in my case it's nothing to do with the bike, I suffer from arthritis in my shoulders following a freak frisby accident when I was 22 and occasionally it manifests itself on the bike - Ibruprofen ointment is my friend in such circumstances!

Before the bridge was built, the river crossing was served by two ferries, one of them being The Tattershall Castle, which is now moored on Victoria Embankment,London...not a lot of people know that😉And that was Belmont transmitter

I like your understated humour in the commentary. PS.... a wold is another word for hill (think Cotswolds). Besides RAF Coningsby, you went very close to Guy Martin's neck of the woods, (Kirmington) and Peter Hickman's hometown of Louth. Could've popped in on them both for a coffee - or a drink in Guys Kirmo pub! Cadwell Park is just around the corner, and you ended up very close to Donington Park too :o)

Not really other than to get off and stretch your legs occasionally - what I also do is stand up on the GS every now and then, that seems to help circulation - also it's a bit of "luck of the draw" I have ridden for 12 hour days and been fine....

Hi. Just returned from a trip of 2000km on a BMW1200GS 2016 model. The filler plug started leaking on the hire bike. Have you experienced this problem? I traveled from Wollongong to Gold Coast Queensland and this bike was awesome with cruse control and comfortable. Cheers love your tour videos which offer much inspiration to tour Australia.

Thanks 02bigkev, appreciate the kind words. ...and I'm glad you think my videos look nice and smooth, I don't use any stabilisation other than that built into the iPhone when I do my bike reviews, otherwise on the GoPro it's the 60fps that makes all the difference...cheers - TMF

It's a tough choice but I think, of all your videos, I like these tour ones the best. Outstanding - nearly as nice as visiting England myself. I must take issue, however, with your claim that the part of Lincolnshire you were riding through is flat. For flat, you need to visit the high plains of the Texas panhandle - imagine the ocean but instead of water, it's prairie. I wish you would do a tour of the Battle of Britain Memorial. That would be fun to see, especially from your flyer's perspective.

Your definitely earning the subs my friend. You put a lot of time into this not only the riding, garage chat, paper round ups but the editing takes a lot of time too. I made some videos when I went skiing earlier this year with my son, the editing took forever. One thing you could improve on is more info about the places (hotels) you stay at, maybe a walk around and a review out of 10 noting cleanliness, comfort and bike parking safety. Just a minutes worth? What think you?

I for one think this is a great idea, maybe not quite so much detail needed for me, just, is it biker friendly, secure parking, and if you say it's OK...then, I'd believe you.. :) Always useful if you are following a 'route' to have somewhere decent to stay.....

I love the bike, not planning to replace it just because it has 15K miles on it!! I'm hoping it will be good for ten times that!! I tend to buy the best cars/bikes I can and then keep them for a very long time to maximise value, I know some like to swap every five minutes - that's not me.
