He nearly died when he started only doing Reddit videos, he even said at one point “If my channel is going to die, I’ll go down doing what I love” and went back to gaming.

This guy is just a legend in many ways

Because he remains out of the drama spotlight. He literally doesn't do anything controversial. He even once uploaded a video of him looking at the screen excitedly while eating popcorn because of the drama at that time while providing 0 commentaries on it. Edit: The first part of the video basically cements what type of person he is. He had the foresight to realize his channel name could prevent his future success. His actions throughout his career show him as a relatively chill normal person.

His channel actually did drop down for a while. At 1 point I was getting more views than him. I didn't like to see that because hes a good guy and he helped me in the beginning. But he's come back and I'm glad. Good for him. He deserves it. He's a KZfaq icon.

You forgot to talk about Ultra Modded Survival, Trollcraft, and all of his minecraft map videos.

There’s also his work ethic. About a month ago he said he was taking a ‘break,’ which consisted of 7 days where he still uploaded to his other 3 channels. The amount of time and effort he puts into KZfaq is incredible.

He was one of the few OG Minecraft KZfaqrs who never left. The huge MC comeback helped him succeed even more.

That is why I like the captain. He avoiding controversial issues that will harm his career and his life before it happened unlike other Minecraft KZfaqrs. That is critical thinking that thinking is the best inspiration to be successful in life.

Man I rather forget Skydoesminecraft, the shit that went down is nuts. Jinbob got arrested by the FBI, and mostly everyone quit YT. I respected him a lot but a lot of the ethics seemed.. Off. Like if a channel didn't do well but had a lot of subscribers they'd flip channels and apparently even darker info came out about Ross and him that I only seen a bit of and its pretty terrible. I loved Sky's humor originally because it was organic and pure but the PG scripted content was the worst choice for him. He didn't seem to be enjoying himself.. And then the offices were it turned out Barney or whatever was lying about his accent playing a "character". It just didn't end up feeling right and even now something feels off about him but hey maybe it's just me. Not really sure of other stuff but feel free to update me with any other info

Minecraft's comeback really did help Jordan out. He Joined SMP Live which was one of the best SMPs out there, Revenge became a meme, and his pure effort on grinding was thew reason he stayed alive and got 10M. Well deserved

I love Cpt sparklez , his golden age pretty much at 2011-2013 as you did said, even tho i'm getting older and lost his interest on some of his content. Sometimes i decide to watch his recent videos and some good old minecraft hunger games as a go to remember good old time. Even tho his popularity has been drop but i'm still suprised there still many people love to watch him till they become mature too.

The reason his channel seems dead is because back in the day when you selected that you were interested in gaming it would automatically subscribe you to him, and because of that he got a lot of inactive viewers really quickly, if it wasn’t because of that he would be gaining subscribers, hopefully the inactive gap will eventually be filled by active subscribers

Dang.... I remember when his fame started to get traction. And like seeing his second “main” channel and confused why nothing was happening on that channel. And all the skyblocks and then all the skyblocks after that. When I rewatched the Fallen Kingdom series again ... it’s only been like 5-10 years since he uploaded the Fallen Kingdom series but I basically cried from nostalgia. I don’t watch CaptainSparklez anymore ... but he still deserves the best :). I hope he continues to be a great success for years to come.

I remember watching his videos in middle school and then kind of losing interest in Minecraft. I was honestly shocked when I got back into it and saw that he was still uploading.

For me, the best display of his versatility is during my tour in the Middle East, I was talking to some guys I had met from another unit. We sat down after we got some cover and talked about Minecraft and how we all remember watching Survival Games and how we wish we were that young. It just shows how we were all from different parts of the country and knew him at young ages.

This was such a massive walk down memory lane. I remember coming home from school to check if Sparklez uploaded. I remember watching his survival series, I remember Jerry the Slime, I remember when Revenge was released. Not having the healthiest home life, watching Captain Sparklez and other MC KZfaqrs like BajanCanadian are some of my fondest memories growing up. Especially watching the first HungerGames, that took me back to a place in my mind I had forgotten existed haha

His og skyblock series is where I found him and I don’t think I ever missed a survival games video he put out. I still remember watching the livestream of the first ever hunger games.

Been watching his channel since the days of Mianite, and I have never once stopped watching him! He's consistently been at the top for me. There's so much nostalgia watching him, and it is always a nice relaxing channel to fall back to watching. And even though comedic moments are far apart, they are absolutely amazing when they do happen. He especially shines when he interacts with other players (even if their presence can sometimes annoy him, which is funny in and of itself, haha).

I didnt realize I was an og fan of Captain Sparkles until this video... been around since that first survival series, R.I.P. Jerry the slime. So many memories. I been watching his channel since years before Trollcraft but only check up every now and then now. I was so impressed back when he was posting Reddit reactions only, his channel was seemingly on the verge of death, he had 9mil subs and would struggle to get more than 40k views and it was sad to see. Then he made a new channel and posted the Reddit stuff there, and went back to gaming videos and it revived his channel. He always gives off the impression of a smart guy, and the fact he was aware enough to change his controversial channel name for future opportunities really shows he knows what he’s doing.

I was never a really big fan but I love Minecraft and I love reminiscing about stuff like this. He’s an admirable man. He’s persistent, determined, and is quite amazing. I feel oddly pround of him despite me having no influence on him or his career. Makes me feel so happy that he’s come so far even when Minecraft was on the decline he was still playing because he enjoyed it. Makes me happy.

watched him for a very long time, growing up. It took a while before I slowly stopped watching him, and youtube in general. Couldn't keep up with his 2 vids/day schedule, and ended up watching animators and content creators who release longer videos every couple months. I respect that he still goes and doesn't seem to have lost any energy. remember the cows

Its an interesting time when 10 years after I stopped watching most of the Minecraft youtubers, people start making these 'history' or essay videos on them. Makes me feel a whole lot better about my childhood knowing most of these new channels grew up watching the same shows and people I did as a kid, and they're mostly well adjusted!

The sole fact that I still see him being recommended despite only having Ilmango on my minecraft subscriptions and views means his power is undeniably immortal. I hope fans of his stay by his side, they're doing great in preserving Legacies, I want to see the day when my kids ask who these legends are.

I think that Jordan has a really good personality that is really fun to watch. That’s why I think he is still successful. It also seems like he stills loves playing Minecraft after all these years. I recently re-subscribed to him and I really enjoy his content and wish him success.
