Thanks OK.Grew up during my teenage years during the 80s the best time for pop music.My Mum was listening to Sade.Lionel Ritchie and the like.Of course my parents era was about The Beatles and The Rolling Stones and many other great bands and never tire of mentioning how great the 60s was growing up in London.Over the years I have seen many great artists including Paul McCartney,Ringo Starr,The Who,Queen,The Police,Genesis,Jeff Beck,Aha,Nik Kershaw,Tpau,Go West,Steely Dan,Eric Clapton,Steve Winwood and Duranduran to name a few.I have also been to festivals and seen the like of Radiohead and Paul Weller.Living in the UK we have a diverse range of music and TV shows like Later With Jools Holland which showcases old and new talent.Jools used to be in the group Squeeze and hosted a music series in the 80s called The Tube.Another great group from the 80s was Love And Money from Scotland.Anyway keep listening to those great 80s tunes and all the best.

@@pauljackson8354 You seem to be younger than me but having the same "career" as me regarding music. At the age of 9(!) I started with the Rolling Stones and through the 70s and 80s my Tape recorder ran hot day by day 😆 Music means (nearly) everything to me! I find it encouraging that there are people out there, who also have the ability to listen closely and to FEEL music. 😊

Such a dark n haunting choon. Genius lyrics. Remember Mark @ Portsmouth Guildhall singing this way back in 1989 whilst he was sat perched on a speaker smoking a ciggy. I was 15 years old at the time & only seems like yesterday.......

This song sounded absolutely incredible way back in the day, and it still sounds just as incredible today. Mark Shaws vocals were outstanding, and so was the music. In my own opinion, Then Jerico are a band that should of achieved far more recognision and success then they recieved. A very very underrated band to say tge least. 👏👏👏👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

This was one of the best tracks on BIG AREA(one of my favourite albums) and i am shocked that, as a song-writer myself nowadays , i have an artist with 5,000 more views than this track and our track was put on you tube three years later without a video and by an unknown artist...BREATHE by JASMINE LAMPORT....she is on Spotify..and selling. I love the songs i co-write but all the same, something has gone disastrously wrong today when this can happen and a single track of THEN JERICHO'S is languishing with that many views. At the expense of shooting my own foot off here, dare i say, either i am doing something right or one of my favourite bands is not getting through to the right audience. Kindest regards to Mark Shaw and his band and music...but something here is just not right...no dis-respect to Jasmine Lamport(who is a cracking singer..and certainly better than many today).

Great song great band..Guildford civic hall live in the 80s 😁😁❤️ such energy and great tunes. They don’t make em like this anymore...proper bands. It’s all manufactured bullshit
