Unmeasurable levels of unnecessary, misplaced, illogical hate. Society at large always wants to bring down the people who make it to the top. Sometimes for good reason, but a vast majority of the time, not so much. Nyjah has worked hard (probably too hard) for everything he's got. Dude gets nothing but respect from me for just keepin' on bein' himself.

cit2braine he’s far from a jock. He just plays it like he is because he finds it funny people think he is. Big difference. Edit: he can be competitive, but that’s not being a jock. Hating is not a natural thing either. Humans shouldn’t hate. Did you know we are 70-80% water, and when we hate, our water molecules separate. Because hate separates.

Someone I knew met him during a signing and he refused to sign anything for him or shake his hand, blew him off. I think its cause this was during his rasta phase and they see ginger people are the devil incarnate but still.

Part of me would like Tom but another part of me would think it would be tough to watch. Geoff for sure, Chewy, yeah but not sure how many people would be attracted to it as he is more a of British thing, not sure if the US are aware of him enough to appreciate him.

Nayjah the only skater who treats it like a sport. Stretching, the outfits, the repetitive tricks every day, all of it. No wonder he’s the best. Apparently John Coltrane would practice the basics of scales like 4 hours a day and then do creative stuff. I think nayjah is the only skater who has real work ethic.

Damn seriously that was the most interesting thing, soooo good to learn more about nyjah and his backstory, Chris the questions you asked were just the one I was thinking about and it’s cool that you just get back to the question when he tries to talk about something else. Super comprehensive, I loved it. I want Shane O’Neill next!! This would be the best like I want to learn more about his process when filming street like does he know what he is going to try when showing up to a ledge spot?

Nyjah is such an enormous inspiration to anyone who enjoys skateboarding. He definitely taught me when I was younger that falling just builds character and getting back up just improves motivation. I have so much love and respect for this man. 💯

I rode for that park when i was a kid, Tony, the owner she was cool as hell, then Nyjah's parents bought it and they didnt rebuild the whole park, the rebuilt the right side and added a euro gap and 8 or 10 stair on the right. They also had a dope 6ft mini ramp that was like 20ft wide or more. Park was dope

I also agree, people leave too much up to "talent" and "god given gifts", it's more of the mindset and mentality a person has, among other things of varying importance. But Nyjah is weird though because his dad forced the fuck out of him to skate, like abusive with it. If he had a different father who knows if we would know the name "Nyjah Huston"?

This is my favorite interview. Cool thing is Chris literally is the exact same in person I ran into him the other day in Santa Monica and he was very genuine mad my day. Also I've got a ton of respect for Nyjah as such a great athelete and driven person hopefully get to skate soon.

Another classic episode. Nyjah is super fucking cool, best street skater to date, one of the gnarliest skaters to date, some of the dopest video parts, “Til Death” is ridiculous, just all around the goat. If you don’t like him that’s not his problem, that’s your problem for being a hater.
