Well said. Grosso was one of the most authentic human beings ever. His unwavering, unconditional and neverending love of skateboarding and all things skateboarding came through in everything he said and did. Whether you were close with him or if you never even met him, if you are a skater, he felt like a friend and a brother and he NEVER stopped speaking up and speaking out for what's right in and with skateboarding. He was our voice. He was the one who cut through all the bulls**t and said what he felt. Right or wrong....but he was right MUCH more often than he was wrong. He was an original and he was gone much too soon. I hope his son Oliver and his close friends and family are doing well and I know that they'll never let him be forgotten.

It was Grosso himself who wanted these parts to be cut out of the interview. Grosso sucks right 😄. In that interview I watched where he said about the 9club thing being 6 hours he also said how happy he was when he got on AntiHero and all of that, so I think even if he can't lose his sponsors now he still wouldn't want them to release the whole thing. I think he never really cared about loosing them in the first place. Grosso Forever

Grosso never should have done this interview for his own mental health. This format is best for chit-chatty industry gossip among peers on the up and up in the industry-which I've purposely been oblivious to my entire life because the only things worth knowing about skateboarding were the things Jeff talked about in the Letters. I'm not denigrating Nine Club the audience that gathers here are hungry for information and they provide it on a platter. But the trap Jeff walked into here didn't help his recovery. I'm not saying he was baited-but I implore the producers to really think before they invite their guests. Good Luck in the future as this format evolves it definatley serves a purpose.

I’m conflicted about this one. In his black media interview he said he sat down with them for six hours and that he said a lot of crazy shit and that they edited it so he didn’t get fired lol the only part I’m conflicted about is if it’s really gnarly and offends a ton of people it would suck if they all just trampled on his grave ya know. Jason Peeps it is one of the hardest things I ever did! It took me many relapsed to eventually get it. The only way I was able to stop was to forgive all the people I blamed for keeping in my addiction. Those people still controlled me and in till I looked at it that way I couldn’t see the answer for me. So I forgave all the people that hurt me along the way through my childhood. By doing that I regained control of my life surely but slowly. I’m so happy I was able to get to that conclusion bc it saved my life and hopefully stop that way of life from passing to my kids. It’s all knew when I grew up but it will not be all my kids know when they grow up. That cycle is a very very tough thing to break. Thanks for sharing your story bc it made me able to share mine.

RIP Jeff. " my heroes have always been cowboys" After I got out of prison in 2016 (served 2 yrs for assault with intent to....) I watched the Mark "Gator" Rogowski story on YT. As that reviewed the/my early years of skateboarding, showing the downfalls of fellow brothers like Christian Hosoi and the introduction of drugs and the impact it started to have in the skateboard community, I realized something. My heroes have always been drug addicts. No disrespect to anybody that has fallen to this plague, because I did, myself. This is the hardest thing to overcome in ones life, and sometimes death is the only way out. It's also the hardest thing to man up to, as well. Jeff had his ups and downs, but was the come back kid. It's hard to be positive and not reflect on the negative. In the end, it's what makes you or breaks you. I pretty much followed Jeff's pattern in life myself. I might be finally getting it right after almost a year and a half in a program, but having trade one drug for another to be considered clean, makes no sense. Anyhow, "the letters" took me back to a special place and time in my life that shaped me as an individual in so many ways. Skateboarding and punk rock still burns in my heart!!! Also, the artwork of both those communities allowed me more self expression. So much ,so, that I recently finished graphics for a legendary pro from 1984. This board will be available in about 8 weeks, I think. I hope it is well received, among collectors and the whole community. I put everything into it!!! Its my big debut as an artist, and I owe it all to skateboarding!!! You can figure out who it is if you check out my Instagram, @dirty_kuntry. Just waiting for the green light, so I can post it. Thanks, Nine Club, for this feature. At least we can watch the letters, anytime we want. And always remember the good ol' days...thanks Jeff, rest in peace, brother.

The Olympics recently allowed songs with lyrics to be used in figure skating to attract a younger audience. The Olympics has damaged so many cities financially. Glad that Grosso brought that up because I know a lot of young people aren't aware of it.

Spoke to someone recently about skating and the olympics. Well, i can see the downsides clear. I wasn't aware of some upsides. e.g. the fact that it is an official sport now, hence in countries that gave a shit about skaters, where police or security personell had no issues in shooting skaters (Brazil, African countries, Russia, ...) makes skateboarding more secure. Also when looking at commerce, Supreme taking a 500 million dollar investment by a The Carlyle Group isn't exactly core skating. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supreme_(brand)
