I was 8 years old when this premiered(10/09/1980). I remember watching this as a family and wishing would could go… with the Jeffersons and The Willis’s 😁 if I knew than what I knew now I’d want Lenny to come to.

I like Florence and Mr Bentley together romantically but then again I did like Hawaiian guy Florence was interested in even though he wasn't interested in getting married but wanted to date not get married. Florence did deserves to settle down and to get married but it never happened to Florence nor did it happened to Mr Bentley.

I always wondered something. The Jeffersons, I am assuming, was filmed in front of a live studio audience. How do they shoot the scenes where they are on the water and in the water, and still have the audience laughing? I have seen that happen in other TV shows, and I wondered how they did it with the studio audience.
