This season starts off like a rocket. All our favourite characters so spread out and in constant danger. Trying to reconnect. Season 5 is just about getting the gang back together maaaan

The record skipping is the best directorial decision this show has made to date! (Also done amazingly in Westworld Season 2)

OK, I hope you all noticed that it is CRYSTAL CLEAR why Sawyer jumped from the helicopter. He said it in this episode. "I jumped so SHE could .. um .. I jumped so they could make it to the boat." He was trying to hide the FACT that he jumped for Kate. This will be a bone of contention later, but it shouldn't be.

Season 5 answers Guide: - Never caught this until now but Richard was Locke's constant. - All the people that were on the ground "were inside the radius" just like Faraday said even if they were near the blown-up freighter but they were on the ground. The guys on the helicopter even if they were near Daniel when it happened were not on ground and therefore were not included in the radius so they didn't skip through time. More coming up the following episodes.

I love how so many things tie up in this season, as with the Nigerian plane's crash. It happened a few years earlier, but it also happened in a different place. It couldn't be in the Pacific Ocean, because that kind of plane departing from Nigeria doesn't have such a big range. So the island has been moving in time and in space (to a different ocean and then back to somewhere in the Pacific). And John did dream with that site a couple times because he had already been there when the crash happened (in John's future time but the island's past time). It's just a wonderful explanation!!

Season 5 is absolutely my favorite season! Can't wait to rewatch it again with you!

Be prepared to be mindblown. AND also be prepared to see Richard alot more. Richard Albert became one of my favorite characters as one of The Others after watching season 5. He was so mysterious in Season 3 and his presence in this season will make you guys want to know more about his history on the island; not to mention questions and some of the Island Mythology you had since season 1 and 2 will start to resurface and there will be some answers. I'm excited for you guys to watch this season and Season 6.
