It could mean a bunch of things but none of the ones that come to mind make any sense in this situation. Poking at Canadian culture while keeping the focus on yourself being ignorant and that's what makes it funny because if the focus is entirely on Canadian culture, being a dude from Louisiana, that would just be mean then. Being able to think of that and say it in-stride with the conversation is what makes Theo a genius. It took me several sentences to explain what he did in less than 1 second.

The Sound of silence. Once that oppressive background music is lifted, the wise man shows his face and the fools continue to follow in the suit of wisdom/true connection. In this the fool is almost attaining wisdom, and through the networks of background noise helps to present the idea itself to new audience of which in doing so shows wisdom in guidence and followers. I think it stems down to just who hes speaking too. For example Joe's podcast usually dives a lot more in depth because Joe likes to learn and truly discus the minutiae. The rest of his work is either professional or it involves a group trying to discredit him so he has to take those a lot more seriously. With Theo he doesnt go into the small details and break things down his podcasts are more geared toward metaphorical statements about topics which keeps things light and entertaining. When you take large complex issues and make them into funnier metaphors it's effective but yet still on topic in a way where you can learn but not undermine the general conversations or teachings.

Theo has very unique vibe. Like - I'm really #### up, but without self pity or attention seeking. For JP it must be pretty rare experience to meet such person as an interviewer.
