@@jhilal2385 oh that’s awesome. Can you show me where he says that? I’m honestly curious. Also why would Yukio describe Laura as “his heart” then? I mean she doesn’t know who she is. Unless her visions are sometimes metaphorical. It seems odd to make that stretch of a connection between films especially at the time The Wolverine was in production. I didn’t think they had a two movie arc planned especially since both movies easily stand on their own.

@Wayne-745
@Wayne-745 3 ай бұрын
@@MarciaVandergriff Well, I don't know about that. There are different types of seizures. I started having them once a month about the same day every month. When it came to my time of the month (no pun intended but funny anyway) I could actually tell when I was going to have one. I'd get a slight headache, I'd feel like I was about to throw up, my vision would get blurry and I couldn't think straight. At that time I'd have small seizures. I'd lock up for 1 or 2 seconds. I'd never lose contiousness and it never left me with any side effects. I had one like that while I was driving when I didn't know what they were. Then I had one in front of a family member and they took me to the hospital and got me hooked on those drugs. I also had what they call a breakthrough seizure. That's where you take your medicine like you're supposed to but you have one anyway. I had one of them while I was taking a crap. The paramedics woke me up and I was laying down on my stomach with my pants around my ankles, my toilet seat broken and a turd floating in my kamode.

The theory behind why Logan is old and not able to heal properly, which technically shouldn't be possible as his powers won't let him age, hence he should technically living forever. The reason is because of his Adamantium skeleton, which is a toxic material. So his power has been consistently healing himself for so many years. And he is literally above 200+ years old where it can be said that with age mutants power do degrade. Rip Logan. And the kid isn't telepathic... you don't have to be a telepathic to talk to Charles. Since he can read your thoughts... you can have conversations with him without talking.

All the mutants died because of what they put in food and drinks and due to Logan being able to heal his body tried to heal past the effects they put in the food and drinks, so that slowed down his healing and when that happened the metal in his body poisoned him. At the end, she was quoting the classic Western film Shane (1953) about a gunslinger trying to escape his violent past who ends up helping a single mother and her son from men trying to take their land. The boy idolizes Shane's gunslinger image but regretting his past he tries to dissuade the boy from thinking such a violent life is a good thing. Shane gives that line to the boy to warn him that although he has removed the bad men from the valley that killing is not something to be idolized, then he rides off. Film scholars debate to this day if the wounded titular character dies but stays mounted as he rides off as a signal of the price he paid to free the valley, much as Logan paid the price to free the kids.

Yeah, basically, Charles has seizures, and he has also developed dementia. Needs the medication for the seizures however as is often the case with people suffering dementia they can become very non-compliant and difficult with those around them. They can be inclined to act irrationally, hide things, lie about things and behave in manners not typical of their healthy younger self, not to mention bouts of memory loss. However it can be interspersed with great periods of clarity and normal behaviour. So his not taking the medication and hiding it or 9bjecting to it are symptoms of his dementia. Unfortunately the knock-on effect is he doesn't take his meds so still has seizures. Which of course with a telepath doesn't just affect himself. Friend if mine's mum had dementia. My friend was always doing things for her mum, running her errands, booking her appointments, getting her shopping, visiting regularly. The mum started getting nasty with her daughter. Accussing her of stealing her money and other such things. Even phoned the other daughter who only visited her mum once a year to tell her about how my friend was stealing from her. Turns out she would go to the bank and take out all her pension money when it came in and then shoved it down the vack of sofas and underneath cupboards etc. She was hiding it herself, didn't know where and so accused her daughter of taking it. Dementia is a very sad and heartbreaking condition.😢

Logan was dying of Adamantium poisoning because of the fact that his healing abilities were diminished. He'd been poisoned by the Adamantium all along, but when his healing factor was stronger, it could protect him from it. Some people speculate that his powers diminished with age, others that the GMO food the Doctor created to suppress mutant genes, might have been the cause. The clone, X-24 was an imperfect clone according to director, James Mangold. He healed smaller injuries quickly, but when he was impaled on that farm equipment, he needed that injection to handle all those major wounds. They also used a much thinner coating of Adamantium on his bones, which is why the bullet was able to blow apart so much of his skull. When Charles said that he remembered what happened in Westchester. He was saying that he finally remembered that he'd had one of his seizures and killed all of the other X-Men.

An adult story that has "M" rated content that wasn't trying to appeal to the masses, and this was near a perfect film because of it. It was an amazing send off for two of the best characters in the series that your grew to see as family over so many films and story lines. It doesn't get much better than this.

Nice reaction to this emotionally driven movie. I do love the Father/ Daughter Logan & Laura team up fight near the movie's end. Watching Laura launch herself off of Logan's back on to the enemy is pretty cool. Just as Hugh Jackman became cinema's Wolverine & RDJ became Iron Man: Charlie Cox became Daredevil (Netflix series) Jon Bernthal became the Punisher (Netflix series) Vincent D'Onofrio became the Kingpin (Netflix series) I'll even say Krysten Ritter became Jessica Jones (Netflix series) *This is my clumsy way of saying you two should really react to the Netflix Marvel series for the grittier side of Marvel. The best of Netflix Marvel are Daredevil, Punisher, & Jessica Jones (season 1).* They should be watched in release order for no spoilers as they crossover with each other.

I think i would have preferred Hugh Jackman to play Joel. I can imagine him singing that song

Charles is my fav character. My gamer tag is ProffessorX. The coolest thing about him is when he goes a little Evil sometimes. In the movies he is always Good, but in truth charles has a fighting cause, and will protect that cause at any cost.

without Charles, the horses would have been roadkill. What's your point? The movie was full of carnage and the family were, unfortunately, collateral damage.

This was a good “finale” to the Wolverine character. Although it will be interesting that Wolverine returns in the Deadpool 3 film. It will be fun to see how they bring him back. A multiverse reality where worlds collide? Can’t wait for the film.

I woke up today with a cup of coffee and my favorite reactors, The Octobers! This is a great movie! It’s my favorite Wolverine movie, my favorite performances by Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart. And the girl who played Laura has a very bright future in acting. I first saw Patrick Stewart in Excalibur when I was a kid.. this performance is such a contrast to all the rolls he’s played, with the exception of American Dad. But that rebellious, occasionally irreverent side as Charles Xavier is priceless. 😝 ahhhh! (no pill)

Guys it's not a spoiler from me so don't worry, it's not the last time we're gonna see The Wolverine. I mean, multiverse is here for Marvel and with that big surprises too. You're gonna love it even tho we didn't even watch it yet because we also have to wait it's release haha Deadpool & Wolverine gonna be huge for sure! I've watched an interview with Hugh Jackman saying that the story with Logan and Deadpool is gonna be before the events of this film.

I absolutely love this movie. I wish they’d do all of the marvel heroes like this. I’m sure y’all knew going into this that the movie pulled inspiration from the old man Logan comics. There’s actually a whole podcast series called marvels wastelanders. The wastelanders series has an old man Logan, old man star lord and old man Hawkeye episodes along with black widow and dr doom. They’d be awesome to see as movies if their respective movies were like this one
