This man was a total genius not just in his art but his knowledge and understanding of life is something that is unique in these Northern Artists. He is so similar to my own Father who is a northern Artist who is still alive at 90 with only one ear surrounded by his paintings and his irritating (to many) reluctance to make a name for himself or to sell his art. These guys are a National Treasure but are often treated like they are nothing by their local Art Galleries and Museums.

What a humble man. I am glad his wife was able to draw those wonderful figures. I enjoyed this interview. We see a painting with a name attached but I want to know about who they were and what their passion with every stroke of their brush. Mr Major most certainly used different tools like a wire brush. He welcomed children to feel the texture of his paintings.......one super cool dude.
