I have never been to Ohio but I decided I need to go so I can see this in person. I never get tired of seeing the OSMB perform the pregame show. I do agree they are indeed the best college marching band in the land. A long long time ago, I was a sousaphone player in my High School Marching band. I have a deep appreciation for what the sousaphone player who dots the I does. Best part of the show if you ask me. As we used to say when I was in band: “Low Brass Kicks Ass.”

Watching them perform script Ohio never gets old. They are TBDBITL.

In the past, there used to be microphones along the sidelines so that the sound quality of the Band was not compromised by crowd noise. Why did this stop? Could they not at least use a directional microphone so that we can get much better clarity for the music?
