Wow! That really made a difference! It's looking like BH&G !👍🙂 Subtitle for this video might be 'the resilient plant world'. If you wrap your little peach tree snuggly with a cut-up paper bag and then paper tape, that oopsie will heal nicely. Trick my dad taught me.😉 Great time to be selling the ol truck too! Used vehicles are up like 40%! A good day on the Old Byrd Farm.💜

You and your whole family are inspirational in the love you have for the farm. The amount of work you have done is mammoth. It’s showing it’s beauty now every video. So glad you got the old girl going again. If your truck is Deuce can the tractor be Lucy? Or Luce for short. I’m in the UK but love passion for the history of your state and it’s homes and graves. Thank you for informative and interesting content. 😊

Polk is goooood and very good for you. When I was a kid I had a friend that lived in the country. When I would go to his house in the summer my grandmother would ask me to look for polk and bring it home. I did, she cooked it, we ate it and loved it. Haven't had any for years. My friend's mom was afraid to cook it because she thought she may poison them all so whe was glad for me to take all I wanted.

When I was a kid,, abt a hundred years ago, lol, my Mama picked the poke salad, boiled it twice in different water, and it tasted, aah, pretty good. I bought some garden soil/ compost to go in my flower beds this year, and for some reason I had a good crop of poke salad growing in my flower beds. I pulled it all up ,and threw it away. I wonder how many lil bare-foot kids ran around playing in that yard over the years.

I did that same exact thing to the poke salad in my backyard thinking I was killing it. I had it laying on the ground like that and it grew out and has started back up…it may be gone now. Hubby got a new weed eater. I love the time lapse of working on the chainsaw. I’ve never used one (shocker) but I’ve watched my Dad and Husband….well every one I’ve ever seen using a chainsaw; cut 10 minutes work on it 15. Apparently they are a bit high maintenance. 😂😂

What about giving the front of the house that faces the road a nice fresh coat of white paint? I know there is work needs to be done on the house and boards to replace, but fresh paint sure would make it look good. Not to mention protect the good wood from the sun and rain. Yes I know there is work needs doing on the house. I'm just saying paint goes a long way to hide imperfections.

The opposite of sky rocket would be plummet. Excellent work on the industrial style gardening. Have you considered getting a goat or two. Tethered you could place them where you need them and they would clear the bush at low cost/effort. Wisteria V goats? I’d be betting on the goat.
