Theo Rossi recently wrapped shooting Zach Snyder’s Netflix feature ARMY OF THE DEAD with Dave Bautista and the lead role in the independent feature DEAR ZOE directed by Gren Wells. Theo played the fan favorite role of ‘Shades’ for two seasons on the hit Marvel Netflix series LUKE CAGE opposite Mike Colter and Alfre Woodard. Theo can most recently be seen in the independent feature VAULT starring opposite Samira Wiley and Clive Standen. Previously, Theo was seen in the highly anticipated Imagine / Telemundo feature LOWRIDERS opposite Demian Birchir, in theaters May 2017. Theo grew a large fan base as one of the stars of the hit FX series SONS OF ANARCHY, where he starred opposite Charlie Hunnam and Ron Perlman as the series bad ass 'Juan Carlos Juice Ortiz'. SONS was the highest rated show on FX with over 10 million viewers a week with playback last season. In 2015, Theo also produced his first film with Emma Tillinger the independent feature BAD HURT which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival.

I have always said the evolution of Tig is the biggest on this show. To see him start as a glorified hitman to a vulnerable man.... incredible

I remember one part where Chibs is eating a muffin, and i think he says "Jesus christ Bobby you're gonna turn me into a fat bastard" (maybe it was "are you trying to turn me into a fat bastard") haha

In season Six, Episode 2 Phil is helping Bobby Elvis move into an apartment. He mentions that there's no oven "how are you going to bake anything?". I just thought that was a throwaway, quirky line. I guess it references his character trait of baking/cooking early in the show! Always something more to connect.

Theo!! Being the one who reaches out to the outsiders to bring them in, going above and beyond to help them feel included, IS NOT A CHARACTER FAULT or flaw!! That is a trait that isn't celebrated enough in people these days!! It shows that you are thoughtful, conscientious, inclusive and most of all ACCEPTING of others!! If more people were like that now, there definitely wouldn't be as much strife and indifference in the world as there is!! As a mom to a struggling actress, it is reassuring to know that there are people like you (hopefully) on set to give younger, less experienced actors some confidence about being "included". Please...DON'T EVER look at that as a flaw or fault! That ability is invaluable and makes a HUGE difference to the "outsiders" who aren't courageous enough to step forward!! THANK GOD for people like YOU!! It makes people feel WORTHY!!! ❤🙏🏼👍🏼

Floyd was such a great addition to the show. Really goes to show how no matter how small the part, these small town characters have such a big impact on the plot and “feel” of the show.

Hi Theo & Kim, Im very late to the SOA party as I just finished watching the SOA series. Awesome show, great actors, writing, etc...I could go on! Just wanted to say thank you for the behind the scenes perspective! The show is still bringing in new fans "years" after the series finale. 30:40. Hey guys love the show. Unser wasn't stealing trucks ,, he owns part of the trucking company in charming and when he had high merchandise like Blu-ray players like in this episode he would pay the club to watch it because it was getting jacked by other clubs, he says so in this episode,,,,,,. Later on that's the business he moves his motorhome to before he brings it to teller Morrow, that's where he lived when the nomads tried to kill him and that's why he got kicked out of there and had to move in to teller Morrow,,,,.

The nomads didn’t try to kill him remember they were doing home invasions and just beating people up related to the club and the only person they killed was Roosevelt’s wife on accident 🤦🏻♂️

Love this! My husband and I always look forward to watching you guys every Wednesday. The duck quaking scene is in the gag reel on the S1 DVD, and Skeeter showed up in S4 when he was taking Piney’s body out of the cabin and when he was cremating it all the way into S5 for Opie’s wake. Oooh the meatloaf was Gemma's! Tig loves her cooking, I assume they all do. Bobby made banana bread for Cherry when HalfSack was training for a fight. (Jax was so jokes when he asked if it had weed in it and bobby lightly said in a scolding tone, "ya know my rule. No bud before 9 am.") LMAO I don't have that rule either Jax don't worry.

I didnt listen to these when they were being done because I couldnt fully remember the details from this show.. and wanted to wait until I was rewatching it or had fresher eyes on the series than I did... Well... FINALLY got to rewatching. Almost to season 7 and just remembered this podcast. Love hearing about stuff like this. How things were done, and the cool inside stuff like recastings and changes. Its fascinating.

Unser wasn't commiting crimes he owned a shipping company but the club did protect his shipments it doesn't really come up is because he sells it in later seasons I believe.

I thought the same thing. I think pirates were jacking Unser’s shipments to sell illegally, so Unser needed protection for those. And then he sells his trucking company in season 4 when he moves out into that trailer.

Although there was less of it shown, at least some of the guys still were mechanics for years later. Jax mentioned being a mechanic when he proposed to Tara in season 4. And this was Unser's trucking company. He wasn't stealing trucks, but he was paying SAMCRO to protect the trucks when they were driving. There was an episode where his trucking company was shipping oil or gasoline. And yes skeeter appeared in later years. He was definitely in the episode when Opie's wake was held in season 5. When Jax beat up the guy that sat on his bike, that was in Patch Over, so you've already reviewed it, but it happens chronologically after this episode Seeds.

i hated Hale when i originally watched the show, and now that i’m rewatching it, I really appreciate his character. he really was a good guy. he wasn’t just trying to oppose the club, he was genuinely doing what he thought was right for Charming.

Hey Theo and Kim, do you realize that this Reaper Review has brought up the subject of mental health and well-being and the importance of the fact that anxiety and depression is fucken real and it needs to be recognized!!!! It's so frustrating when you're going through (or watching someone you love or even a stranger) going through this very real problem! When I say to you guy's and my Samily, " Thank you....this show has literally saved me (and other Samily members) from falling over the edge" ...... I truly mean that shit!!!!! I didn't know about Johnny Lewis dying until two days ago....and my fellow Samily members started talking about it, and...wow!!! Hello world 🌎 mental health issues are serious and it needs to be taken seriously! People are dying!!!! I don't want to fall off that edge and I don't want to see another person fall off that edge....it's a daily struggle to try to stay balanced on that edge....I want off of it...I want to get away from the edge...and I want to walk on the happy side....fuck, I'm rambling now, I just wanted to acknowledge how important it is to have a safe place and for me, this show is my happy place, thank you for being here to the moon and back!!!.......💗💗 You guy's are making a difference, no doubt! Kim was brilliant at playing Tig! He was my best friends favorite out of all the Characters! I MISS MY TUESDAYS! I was there every Tuesday come hell or high-water, it was my Dad who got me hooked, he was visiting and bought season one that we binged and from that moment on I was a fan! My best friend did not have cable and after every season she would come down and we would have a two day SOA bindge fest! My favorite T shirt the Oregon Duck as the reaper my Son's of Oregon T!

I never took it as Unser being in criminal work - he owned a trucking company- I’m pretty sure that was legit electronics and he paid SOA to protect it because he didn’t want his stuff stolen - hence it being stolen to teach him a lesson

I started watching after Season 1 came out on DVD, but I watched all of Season 1 in 2 days. I could not walk away from the TV. I have also now watched Seasons 1 thru 7 20 times now and I cry and get mad in the same parts every time even though I have seen them all so many times

I wondered if yall were going to bring up Johnny Lewis/Half-sack. (And please yall, I am not going to have a discussion of who he was....other than someones son, friend, etc so don't be a dick..) that had to, regardless be difficult during and still. Half-Sack as a character had so much potential. All in all how he went out (as the character R.I.P.) was as always, incredible writing by Sutter.

Theo is being kind and discreet -- Johnny Lewis ('Half-Sack') had a terrible background (drinking, drugs, parting with his high-level Scientologist family, probable mental illness either originating from, or worsened, by a motorcycle crash) -- spiraled through a series of violent altercations, breaking-and-entering, psychiatric committal, incarceration(s), and, ultimately, a tragic assault-self-harm combination (of his landlady) which resulted in murder-suicide. Sad case. Really a great, three-dimensional character during his relatively short time on-screen.

Are you guys going to talk about the for webisodes that they made that took place between season 3 and 4? They were very important to the story and clear up a lot of unclear things that happened at the beginning of season 4.

I thought the point of the gas-station-axe-in-the-head scene was that the Sons had gone to all this trouble to create an elaborate murder scene - dug up a dead guy, made the deal with Skeeter, almost got arrested - and then, on the way home from 'work', got into a fight that led to gunplay and a dude with an axe in his head. Irony.

Where jax/Charlie did eventually become a star off of this role I feel like Ron and Katie were both pretty big stars at that time … I mean it’s hell boy and peg Bundy both were cultural icons
