Alcohol and cigarettes addiction actually destroyed my life. I could remember several years ago after divorce with my wife which brought me into my disastrous journey on Alcohol and cigarettes. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with cptsd. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

Amen God bless people. Save your health save your mind. Life is better without heroin, cocaine, alcohol and cigarettes. And you have more money in your pocket. God bless everyone who has rejected the devils intentions to be addicted to alcohol and cigarettes etc which can cause so much damage to health.

Can you help me with the reliable source 🙏. I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Australia. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them

100% agree I used to have Psychosis and paranoid thoughts like "people thinking about me talking about me etc. Very odd behavior after getting off Adderall from 7-16. Antidepressants at 18-29. 31 now. I took way to much, but took about 20g of Gold caps (Psilocybin containing mushroom) I analyzed my entire life. The emotions that came out helped me understand behavior etc more. Wont ever need to do it again because I'm happy and contempt forever, but I wish more people did this to alter their perception of reality. Would help with healing much trauma

@@getstuk87I'll chime in my 2 cents (+25 yrs) everybody is struggling in one or more areas of their life. Sometimes it can't be seen from the outside. One of the advantages of going to 12 step meetings is you can hear about others, some with significant clean time, and the challenges and solutions they have found, in many different areas of life, spiritual, physical etc..

@@getstuk87The brain uses drugs for a reason, and it's terrified to be off of them for that same reason. I'm sure you've experienced the crazy leaps of logic it will come up with to justify "what about just this once" a hundred times. Your question sounds like a brain terrified to face sobriety, which is super common and nothing to be ashamed of, but it's scrambling to come up with a justification on why you shouldn't try. And it decided on "maybe it's impossible, and it could never work for me, so it would be a waste of time" as its reason. But that's just fear; it's a way of delegating authority and saying "Ah, okay. It's because I'm Type F, or whatever, so it's not my fault. It's out of my control, and not my responsibility to improve". Let's say you're never 22 years sober. Let's say every three months you fall off the wagon. That's still 3 months of not using! Over a year that's still three quarters of a year you're clean! Spread out further, that's three quarters of the rest of your life that's yours. That's way better than zero! You should try, because even moderate success is worth it. Find a group to support you, try a different one if the first doesn't work for you. Trying and failing at three systems and succeeding at the fourth is still success, and you never would have found the fourth without the first three attempts. It's all part of the solution, even the failures along the way.

When Dan explained the "same feeling" he got when doing the "house tour" as waiting on his dealer to "give him a bump" I completely resonated with that. A scenario I was familiar with was waiting to be served at a bar. That impatience. That frustration like hurry up. In my opinion he was practicing some form of mindfulness practice like meditation at that time of his life when he had the "house tour" to have conciously realised that same feeling / connecting the trigger dots. Inspiring and informative. Thanks for uploading this.

I love the connection I feel to these men in this conversation. I've been addicted to alcohol weed nicotine and porn for 30 something years now and I'm finally realizing the pain involved. It's a multi faceted pain. Mental emotional, physical, spiritual. I asked myself how much pain can I withstand so I can feel awesome for a little while. It's just not worth it. Besides, sober joy is so much better and there's no hangover. ❤

Theo's podcast is like Alcoholics Anonymous for people who don't wish to remain anonymous. When Theo first asked Dax to do the pod, Dax said, "Go away. I'm baitin'!

Really love this openness and down to earth vibe. I've been struggling feeling like I just take subtle and not so subtle punches from people all day, simply because I'm a straight (half) white male in 2024. I just want to meet people where they are and move forward as unified human family, but everyone wants a war. Good to remember that life isn't about people pleasing, it's about going through whatever is going to happen and channeling it into your masterpiece.

Great points here, glad they're talking about it because nobody really knows that orgasm is a drug, Marnia robinson teaches karrezza sex perfectly, the simple brain chemistry behind it- more than one orgasm per week diminishes dopamine production just like any other drug, causing any and all brain reward deficiency syndromes like depression, anxiety, OCD, ADD, addiction, etc.

A lot of people don't understand that addiction is deeper than the substance. There are thoughts, patterns, and habits that need to be broken and reprogrammed. That's why you can be an addict that's never touched a drp of alcohol or illegal drugs.
