How can Sunny get any cuter, but he does!!!! He is too precious!!!!! Love his "voice"!!!! At the end I thought he was going to say, "Don't hate me b/c I'm so handsome!" He is something else! My mother sewed over her fingers because she sewed really fast and had 5 little distractions running around. It kept me from sewing until I had to take a sewing class in high school. Always stop and put your needle in the up position to pull your work out and the threads will let go much easier. I think you’re doing great with the sewing machine! Sunny’s haircut is adorable!

Just started with junk Journaling and found these videos. Love you Pam for being so happy and disorganized!!! Love the " no right or wrong" attitude. You make my day. I have started collecting from my stashes and it is so much fun. I have always save all sorts of scraps and weird stuff, now I can use it. Thanks for your inspiration. Hello from a 78 year old semi retired media specialist in SC. Hope to show my students how to junk journal next year.

Fun to watch your videos! Suggestion about your thread pulling out of needle when you start sewing, make sure you end your sewing with the “giraffe head” all the way up so the thread doesn’t pull out of the needle! Turn the big right wheel to get that giraffe head holding thread up high! That might be your problem! 😉

I love your inspirational reckless abandonment. A tip I just figured out is place the needle in the project before you press the peddle to sew. it keeps the tread from pulling out of needle. I don't have a self threading machine and this "hack" keeps me sane-ish lol

THOUGHTs: on stress, de-stress, and distress. With crafting... we generally distress things, using a variety to measure to inflict a worn effect on objects. LIFE IS STRESS, STRESS IS PART OF LIFE. We learn from failing, we get by the best we can with what we got. Being an RN, it's about working at keeping people out of acute distress. With crating we distress things and that de-stresses me. Speaking for myself of course! lolol Pam I am listening to you as I am cleaning off my desk and organizing stuff. It is 89 outside and 91 inside with no AC currently. Got fried in a recent driving rain storm. New AC is winging its way to what is left of me in 4 to 5 BUSINESS DAYS after it ships. I AM SO ENJOYING YOUR AMAZING VIDEO this is the second time listening to this one. SONNY YOU LOOK GORGEOUS and if it s SUNNY YOU ARE ADORABLE AND QUITE DEBONAIR. lololololol

Well now I want to sew on papers, lol but I have to clean. Hope you have a awesome day today. Take care and I hope hubby does well on his second shot, we only felt bad for like a day then we were fine.

Always remember to hold the tail threads upon starting to sew. OR besure the front thread 'thingy' is always in the upmost position. I myself find holding the threads tails on starting my sewing works easier.

If you leave a tiny gap (a stitch or 2) after finishing one piece and before feeding the next one in you can just snip the pieces apart when you're all done. That way the thread won't come out of the needle. It's called chain sewing and quilters use this method a lot especially when they have little pieces to sew together. 😁
