Leesa P. received an unexpected cancer diagnosis of Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) after a routine physical. However, not long after her diagnosis her oncologist told her, “You probably have had this for a while.” After pulling her medical records from 3 years prior, she learned her cancer could have been caught years earlier. Now, 14 years after diagnosis, Leesa reflects on her journey and making the most of the time she has.
