As a Hawks fan please please PLEASE can a college team offer him something substantial. I appreciate what he's done for us up until this point but it's become very apparent how much he's relied on Russ and the Legion of Boom. Everyone knows his play calling is prehistoric and he refuses to change. And he can't make the necessary decisions as coach/vice president to cut dead weight like Ken Norton. His time is up and Hawks are on the brink of rebuild if we don't sort it out within the next 12 months. Best believe Russ and BWagz arent gonna finish their careers in Seattle.

everyone knew Seahawks were gonna be bad this year. they lost all their core players. but they got nice young rookies and players who just need to gain experience. i say in a year or two seahawks be back to their og legion of boom self. chiefs had their few years of teams trying to figure out Pat Mahomo and the chiefs. with all these scrambling QBs becoming normal. teams are building a def to counter them.

Mike Tomlin is one of the winningest coaches in nfl history and has a better record than Sean Payton or Andy Reid. And unlike them he's never had a losing season as a head coach. The idea that he would leave or that the steelers, the most loyal franchise in the NFL, would push him out is ridiculous.

That’s a fact. The man speaks so articulate and straightforward you can’t even try to spin his words. I’ve been a Steelers fan since I was 5 years old. My mom is from Pittsburgh, so it was already there, but I cried my eyes out when they lost the Super Bowl to the cowboys. That’s when I knew that I was 100% a Steelers fan for life. These people in the fan base calling for Tomlin to be fired over the years are not true fans in my opinion. If they were they’d know Tomlin is probably the greatest leaders in the league, and we’ve been spoiled by having him. Love that man. Hope I get to shake his hand tell him how proud he’s made me for being a fan one day. A lot of people hate the Steelers, but no one hates coach T. That speaks volumes.

Payton brought New Orleans the ONLY Super Bowl win they've ever had. Nawlins doesn't have the history or tradition like the Steelers do. The fans there are happy. The Burgh is different. 6 Super Bowl wins. Rich tradition of winning......something that hasn't happened in the playoffs in at least five years. No SB since 2010 season. There are steeler fans that are spoiled and expect a great team every year. Every organization has down years and has times where they have to rebuild the o-line and other positional groups. There are times when it's time to find a new QB. Thankfully the steelers have not had to do that in a long time. Putting a great team together takes time and a lot of effort. But their are fans that don't pay attention to how the process actually is and just want results. Just because a team is going through that process does not mean the coach is bad. Also, finding the right players to put a great team together takes work from many more people in the organization than just the HC or coaching staff.

Because as a Saints fan you have experienced nothing but heartache, kind of like what it feels like being a Detroit Lions fan every year. Enter Sean Payton and Drew Brees. They finally win the Crescent City the coveted Lombardi Trophy. Payton will retire there. That's the only winning coach y'all have seen. I've seen Chuck Noll, Bill Cowher and Mike Tomlin. Be a Steelers fan back from 1985 to 1991. We sucked but in Chuck Noll we trusted, right? Nope! People knew his time had passed. Even he knew he was done so he stepped away. 7 season stretch where the Steelers saw 1 playoff win. 5 years since the last playoff win. Let the playoff futility keep coming. Because it's going too.

1st off Pat - Love your show! Now - Tomlin handled this like everything he's always done in press conferences - 1000% professional, well thought out response and in this case pretty much shoved it down Carson's throat! I've been a Steelers fan in NJ since I was 6 or 7 - Dad was born & raised there - and a season ticket holder for 30 yrs. Put my name on the list when Dad died in '78, just before I turned 18. Tomlin has the utmost perfect way of saying things all the time!! Not some or most - ALL! He is a master communicator, motivator, extremely intelligent and I hope he stays until he's 70!!

Seeing so much fair weather Steelers fans about Mike Tomlin in the comments man. We truly have been spoiled with only having 3 coaches in the span of 52 years. I’d run through a brick wall for this man
@kingchuckfinley
@kingchuckfinley 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, man. There’s a few in here that need to really shut up. We’ve been so spoiled. How are all the new HC’s doing? Because I only see one that has a good team. Ben needs to hang them up. He’s had a hell of a career, but time caught up. And as much as it’s frustrating people need to realize when he’s gone it’s going to be tough, because he haven’t needed a qb in almost 2 decades. Really can’t stand these “fans” hating on Tomlin. It’s honestly gross.

I feel Tomlin there. If I was in his shoes there, I would be like, I have not done anything or shown any signs that I want to leave the Steelers and go coach college football and these analysts are asking me a question from rumors and speculation they believe in that came from other people who have nothing to do with me. This is a joke

Not true fans. We love Ben bc he is a soldier and we didn't want to believe he was done. He always bounced back. Now we know and just hope for the best. Whoever said Tomlin over Ben gets there info from TikTok! We have been blessed to have the same qb and coach for many years. Change is hard. Not being elite is even harder. It's here and we will deal with it. Steeler Nation

Lots of love for Tomlin, great guy, okay coach. Always seems to play to the opponents level, i.e. Bengals and WFT last year. Jacksonville, in the Burgh, taking out a FAR superior Steeler team, TWICE in the same year a couple years ago. I know I'm in the minority saying this, but I just don't see him being able to win the SB. He doesn't have his teams prepared sometimes. I believe the secret to his success is Kevin Colbert. This guy finds supreme talent, championship talent, year after year. Tomlin has had Championship caliber teams that didn't get within sniffing distance of a championship. Great dude, a players coach, respected by his peers, and fans from all teams, but to me, a fairly lackluster performance when it means the most. Sorry guys, had to say it. Bleeding Black and Gold since '75.
